Greatest game Ive ever played I need another game of this. The creators of this game really don’t disappoint with all the art and writing that goes into it. I hope they make a 3rd game.

I was originally going to wait until I had completed Friendship with Benefits 2 twice over to give a more in-depth review, but that isn't entirely necessary to provide my thoughts on this game. First out the gate, the game has improved in many ways upon the last, providing improvements that myself and others have either criticized or recommended. While I still recommend experiencing the first game, especially because it can be referenced in this game--so long as you select the option at the beginning that continues from the first, as opposed to going in as if you had never played the first--this game can and does stand on its own regardless of past experience. Among the quality of life improvements are the updated UI and consent system. The game has an inner menu, separate from the pause menu, that works to access various features previous restricted to specific locations in the first game. Accessing the soundtrack and gallery can now be done anywhere with two simple clicks to navigate, rather than tracking down specific locations and/or cycling through dialogue to access these features. The consent system is also a welcome addition, not just for freedom of choice, but for replay-ability as well. In a way, it adds an RPG aspect, by allowing you to focus your interactions on specific characters in one playthrough, only to interact differently in another. Another great improvement to the formula is the inclusion of clothing and "toys". These can be purchased with the in-game currency, and provide alternative scenes and alternative outfits to vary your romantic rendezvous. These are entirely optional, and can even be reserved for the post-game when you've already upgraded your means of income to the max. While these additions are not inherently necessary, they are certainly welcome improvements from the last game. The story, on the other hand, was certainly an interesting one. While it improved in its complexity, I found it to drag on at times. The game is split into two separate acts, each focusing on a different antagonist. Unlike the first game, which makes the climax a twist that fills you with a sense of urgency, the sequels conflicts--especially the second act--feel almost invasive in how they thrust urgency upon you. Just as you had finished dealing with one burden, you're already anticipating another with little reprieve to process the last. With that being said, I enjoyed the use of three antagonists. Two primary, one very limited, and one that's more of the anti-hero. As to be expected, these are based on antagonists from the show. Unfortunately, I feel an opportunity was missed in not using a certain chaotic antagonist, who would have been exponentially more entertaining that the Act 2 antagonist. Perhaps a recommendation for a third Friendship with Benefits, should one ever be in the works. Lastly, while the character art has seen a significant improvement from the previous title, the backgrounds have taken a serious hit in being clearly modeled by Artificial Intelligence. It contrasts to starkly with the character art, that I often analyzed the characters to make certain they weren't AI generated as well. I, for one, would have happily waited longer for this installment if it meant the background art would have been made without the use of AI. Aside from the removal of AI generated content, I wonder how this game can be topped without overhauling everything. Animations, voice overs, actual mini-games? There's so many possibilities, but these would also be drastic changes, whereas this game is very similar to its first but with various upgrades. The more that would be added, the longer it would take for a third installment, and perhaps it is time for a different title. Nevertheless, no matter what awaits the future of TwistedScarlett60's games, I am intrigued to see what comes next, and recommend this game to fans of eroges and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, especially if you've already experienced the first title.

I enjoyed the first game, and I was really looking forward to playing this one. But my enjoyment lasted only for the first 1-2 hours of the game. The thing that bothered me the most is writing. Almost all dialogues felt boring compared to the first game. And, overall, the writing itself felt quite amateurish. I met a lot of tautologies and redundancies. And most of the time you could've just skipped it without losing any important or interesting information. There is also a matter of AI backgrounds, of course, that I found off-putting and not blending well with beautiful character sprites. The only good thing about this game is hot sex scenes. And maybe that's enough for some people. It's a porn game after all.

Extremely worthy sequel to an already great H-game. I'm not even a fan of the source material myself so it is entirely playable without prior knowledge to both the source material and the first entry as it offers a summary, that being said one might get more enjoyment from this title if they are fans of MLP. Honestly there's not much to say about this game other than it has great writing and great art/ H-scenes. That's pretty much all and it's also very much all it needs.
