Freefall '95 is a fast-paced, arcade-like, falling-from-the-sky simulator where you take on the role of the sole survivor of a mid-air disaster as they plummet towards the earth. While falling you can combine radical tricks, dangerous stunts and collect falling items to build up huge scores all while dodging dangerous debris and other hazards.
While on the plane, you can interact with fellow passengers, buy useful items with your hard-earned coins and take on quests to discover what might be causing this aviation nightmare.
Inspired by games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, SSX Tricky and other classic extreme sports games, it takes the player back with a heavily '90s-flavoured art style and soundtrack.

Freefall '95 is very good at what it does. What it does is a Tony Hawk-esque sequence of short trick combo runs in a nicely animated two dimensions. The soundtrack is limited, but good for the vibe. The amount of content on offer for a game at this price is actually quite surprising in a good way. If I have a complaint, it's that the way the mechanics escalate difficulty is often finicky without opening up more depth to stringing combos together. This isn't always the case - e.g. kicking ducks is a fun thing which does add things you can do with the combos - but it is *mostly* the case. Adding things that attack you does definitely add difficulty. I just wish the move set could be expanded or refined to make sure there is always a parry. What is here is satisfying enough to keep me playing just to rank higher on the scoreboards. That's doesn't often happen.
