Genuinely was excited for this game, which is why I backed it on Kickstarter. Then when it came out I had pc issues and wasn't able to play for a while, then I got in and it genuinely was fun but seemed like there just wasn't enough to do, enough in game, or like it was just falling to the same issues Rust has. Then the announcement of it shutting down just 2 years after it got its backing, and basically what a year after its release if that? Then they delete the Twitter and discord immediately. Feels like somwthing massively fishy happened here and I'm disappointed honestly.
This game is a lot of fun. I had fun playing it and playing with the Devs. I wish that it was going to continue being worked on.
with monsters to kill, weapons to build, and lore to explore Fractured Veil has it all when it comes to a mmo survival builder adventure game , the Dev Team work furiously to push out patches and updates and have always got amazing surprises around the corner when it comes to new mechanics and additions to the game, they stay in contact with their player base and are always eager to hear suggestions. i cant wait to see how this game develops!!!
Hello reader, I hope this review finds you well. Things that I like! (The Pro part of the list) 1. The style of the character creator. I love that you really can't make a "pretty" character. This would normally be a pet peeve of mine (I'm vain and vapid) but it really works here! You survived others being turned into mutants! You're gonna be ugly. 2. Seems pretty straight forward on how to play and progress. (Yes my time is low, I am very bad at these games and generally don't care for them.) 3. Music is great! It's not overbearing while also not easily forgotten. It sets a mood. Makes the atmosphere as it were. 4. Language. This is huuuuuge. This game wonderfully preserves a language that is quickly dying out. They have done an amazing job with cultural accuracy. Top knotch! Things I don't like! (The cons as it were) 1. This genre. Well, I don't hate this genre so much as I suck at it. Give me an offline mode with a creative setting. Just let me build and ignore all else. 2. The game clearly does not teach new players that there are pve and pvp servers. (I say this because so many of you whine about how it is a pvp centered game. It isn't. pvp is an aspect, not its sole feature.) You want a quirky, weird, uncomfortable sometimes to look at (player characters) "zombie" survival game? This just may be the game for you! It's clear the devs love the setting and world they are working with. They listen to feedback and adjust accordingly. Though maybe they need to add a neon sign that flashes, vibrates and yells at you which server type is which....
