The atmosphere in this game is so immersive despite the simple graphics. The music and the dialogue really make it feel like you're part of the world of Foxlore. I enjoyed most of the puzzles (there was one in particular that I did not understand) but the game and story are overall very well crafted.
A nice little game with puzzle solving, furries, and reasonably priced, what more could you ask for? :3 Ending spoilers, don't hover over if you don't want it spoiled
please tell me Filo is okay ;w;
-------------------------------------------------*SPOILERS * ------------------------------------------------ Este juego me rompe completamente el corazon, tiene mucha trama de transfondo y es recomendable prestar atencion a traves del juego para entender como interactuan algunos personajes No es un juego que dure demasiado, explorando y completando sus distintos puzzles se hace disfrutar bastante Cabe aclarar que este juego quizas es mas oscuro de lo que parece, con una historia de fantasia que trata sobre tiempos ya olvidados, que con buena razon se ocultan, pues esto se demuestra en ambos finales del juego Nuestro pobre protagonista, Filo, tiene bastante personalidad y a mi personalmente me hace simpatizar mucho, lo que hace que en uno de sus finales duela aun mas su tragico final En uno de los dos finales, Filo va a morir, esto es asi y no se puede cambiar, es el destino, aun asi te deja completamente en shock con su final abrupto Para mi, no quedo claro en el final a que se refiere con que "hay alguien resguardandote" refiriendose a Filo, no queda claro si se refiere a nosotros como el jugador que lo controla, o si por alguna razon es nuestra amiga muerta de la infancia, sea lo que sea, en busqueda de algun tipo de proposito en su tragica vida, Filo termina encontrandose un final bastante subito, y abrupto, en el caso de elegir matar a Icabiel Dicho esto, fue muy divertido ver cada diseño de cada furry distinto en el juego, me gusta que los furries de ciudad sean algo completamente distinto a los de "pueblo" y esto a Filo le parezca extraño Los puzzles no son particularmente dificiles, algunos son divertidos de hacer entre amigos Filo como personaje es algo bastante tragico y se nota que esta en un punto duro de su vida, lo que duele aun mas si elegimos asesinar a Icabiel, acabando tambien con la vida de Filo, definitivamente distinto al tipo "usual" de juego furry Pese a sus bugs visuales, es un juego solido y me alegra ver juegos como este que experimenten con otro aspecto mas alla de solo lo tierno El final me puso triste :steamsad:
to complete the game you need to have 200 IQ, the game is quite interesting and has its own plot and character lore, the only thing I would like to complain about is that I do not display the achievements in my profile, but this is most likely a bug on the part of steam, and I really liked the game. (and please add other languages to the game).
very good game, small flaws that don't affect the game but overall charming and made with heart, engrossing story and cute character dynamics
Foxlore is a very enjoyable narrative puzzle game with some foreboding undertones in the design. It does well to join cozy elements of small town life and the "outsider visits the big city" trope with some more ethereal/existential topics. The writing was solid and struck a nice balance between fun memes to lighten the mood and heavier topics such as loss, friendship, and self worth. The puzzle gameplay was engaging as well to the point where each one felt distinct and fitting for the context in which it was introduced. The game has some bugs/typos to it, but Niko and the community formed around the game are active in patching many of them or relaying newly discovered ones as they come up. Additionally, some of the puzzles do have multiple solutions, but only one is registered as correct. There are numerous ways to address this, but I don't know which would be most appropriate. In the meantime, consulting the community works to help progress stuck players in certain puzzles. I am overall very impressed with Foxlore! The ambiance of the design and music set a good tone for the story and encourage players to get to know Filo and his network of friends. I can only hope that Niko might have more in store for the universe he set up in Foxlore!
Rad funky fox music
Apenas lo he empezado, pero es un juego interesante. Pese a tener algunos problemas y una extraña gestión de los menús, quiero seguir jugando y descubrir todo lo que tiene por ofrecer. Los puzles aunque sencillos me gustan.
