Fox Simulator

I haven't played this game very much, but i like it. wroth the price.

Can't say I was impressed. The game does not look remotely finished. There is almost no gameplay to draw someone in. At least not for me. Not worth money imo.

This game is extremely, Suggested to people that have family, Children and also just in general audeniences to begin with. I played it for maybe 5 minutes and i am 28. I adore animals. Foxes are my fav. This game is a lovely idea =) Could use more to it though to make it better.

Fun hunting/catching survival game to grind some time into. Pros: 5 minute fox customization, nothing too basic or over the top Simple tutorial that teaches you the basics, not just being thrown into Animal variety, including different colored rabbits Great lighting, you don't get blinded by light in the day or clueless in the dark. Awesome night visibility! Fruits in forest fills a bit hunger, not really reliable but helps when you didn't successfully catch prey right away Instantly catch rabbits in a chase once you get close enough. They wont fight you, but can out run you. Quick prey drop-off at catch collector Predators and some animals fight back, making a good challenge Move at own pace, complete small quests Fox family at age 4, most likely when you get comfortable with controls and hunting Simple game play, and generally relaxed environment. The game itself ran really smooth for me and is entertaining to anyone who wants a relaxing/simple survival game.

The game is pretty fun! There is a bit of a learning curve, and some of the controls are not always accurate. But it's not enough to not play it. However, I do wish the XP system worked a bit differently. I wish that it didn't go back down to a previous level when you die, AND count animals as already hunted. I also have been having trouble with the game registering my controller when I die and start over. I don't know if this is something in the game, but it should be looked at.

Played this on stream, and it's honestly adorable, I love it, and I cannot wait for more. Graphics are beautiful (Though obviously stylized), and I had no issues running it. I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this, but instead I'll give you something to chew on for making it better; 1: Full controller support is nice, but not being able to rebind anything is not, please fix that. 2: When using a controller, show what buttons to press for what on the controller, not the keyboard. (IE: Telling me to press E won't do me any good if I play on an XBone controller) 3: More customization would be nice on the foxes, mostly in color but I wouldn't be against more modifiers either. Even more extremes for them such as allowing the tails to get thicker. 4: Choose a side. Either explain it fully, or let the player figure it out. Being told exactly how to eat and drink, but not how to kill* an animal before you can eat it, and only a loose description of how to get a mate is... More confusing overall than it is possibly helpful. (*If it did show how to kill, I missed it.) 5: Clear goal? Maybe? Does it even need this? I don't know. 6: More clear progression and better clarity on what is being progressed and how. IE: I have to kill 5 bears... Why? 7: Sensitivity and camera invert controls. 8: Auto centering camera, and "lock" system for prey. 9: First person. 10: Better nighttime visibility (Foxes have incredible nightsight) 11: Overall spit polish. The game has good bones, and the beginnings of meat. Flesh it out. Day/night cycle is the clearest part that needs a good once-over. Overall, this is amazing for it's price and I love it. I want so much more!
