About
"In times of boredom, there's only one logical thing to do...
...travel to another dimension, recreationally!"
- A. Wandereye (probably)
Fourmiworld is a free game all about exploring a strange world orbiting a dying star. Along the way you'll discover the remains of a lost civilization, encounter bizarre creatures, unlock tools to aid your expedition, and more.
If you'd like to support us, consider checking out the Wandereye's Writings DLC. It isn't necessary, but we recommend it if you want the definitive Fourmiworld experience.
If you enjoy at least 7 of the following points, we think you'll really click with Fourmiworld:
Games with destructible environments and secrets to discover.
Open-world exploration and nonlinear progression.
Insects, bugs and Sci-Fi ecosystems.
Piecing together the history of a long-gone alien race.
Atypical artstyles, collage, girls with flowers for eyes.
Growing stronger and gaining abilities to better navigate your environment.
Games that don't hold your hand and just let you figure things out.
Atmospheric, ambient music that adapts to where you are.
Personalized experiences, seeing things other players will not see.
The word "Frondosity" invokes a certain joy in you.
These games inspired us a lot during development. We think you should give the game a try if you enjoy at least two of these:
Metroid - Game-altering upgrades & lonesome alien atmosphere.
Terraria - Digging anywhere & obtaining resources to get new abilities.
Hylics - Surrealistic stylization & unconventional vibe.
Yume Nikki - Exploring exactly how you want to & seeing weird/cool/scary things.
Starseed Pilgrim - Lack of hand-holding & tile interaction aspects.

very fun and charming game. always play
very wierd but cool game
Weird and wonderful, with a banger soundtrack and just enough challenge to keep a casul relaxed yet entertained. Waiting for the dating sim spin-off.
I think this is a good concept for a game. At least I think... I don't know if I'm playing it right. The game just throws you straight into a massive world and lets you figure the rest out yourself. Despite the lack of any instructions or even an explanation as to what anything even is, this game is suprisingly fun. The graphics look extremely unique. I've never seen a game that even remotely resembles this. Is this game good? I honestly have no clue. Is it worth playing? absolutely!
Extremely cool, weird, surreal and fun exploration game. Starting out I thought it was basically just a surreal novelty but it kept me in once I began to find more and more things to collect. Any new area you find ends up having something to do. The gameplay itself is a bit repetitive, but considering the runtime and price point I think that's completely fine. I was extremely surprised by the end when it takes everything you did and puts it into a weird semi-gauntlet. I like this game a lot and if you like mining around a surreal dreamscape world, this is an easy recommendation.
this is such a wonderful little experience absolutely oozing with charm. i encourage you to get the supporter bundle to support the devs if u enjoyed the game as much as i did! i love u wandereye <3
