Flawed, but cute, and kept us going through to the end. Worth a check on a good discount. Definitely multiplay this, don't do single-player. Also, be forewarned, if you are annoyed by frustrating platforming, this is gonna make you tear your hair out. Still, cool concept, and cool little couch coop opportunity - and those don't really come that often.

очень простая и увлекательная игра, для хомяков самое то
fun to dig up bones and make crazy looking things. middle levels get pretty grindy but the ending levels are awesome.
I like this game, there are a couple bugs like the main menu exit game button doesn't work so you have to go back to the main menu of the game first. There's also a lot of gems that kind of clutter the archaeology lab after a while with very few actual uses in game. Other than those couple of things it's over all fun to play around in and make differing fossils. but I can't recommend it because on level 29 there is a game breaking bug that won't allow me to complete the large fossil skeleton, namely the tail will not turn at all. I've followed the game developers advice to go to appdata/locallow/reptoidgames and deleting 29FinalObject.json to "reset" the level. It doesn't reset and I'm stuck on this floor unable to progress or even go back without completely restarting my game. *The fix that the game dev gave me was to hold R2 on controller or CTRL on the keyboard. The game is now able to be completed.
Just wasn't for me- perhaps more fun in coop but as myself just wasn't what I as expecting. No way to have or organize inventory and a controller is a MUST.
Fossil Hunters is an action-puzzle game where you explore underground levels with your trusty pickaxe at the ready to clear away sand and dirt, hopefully unearthing fossil pieces which you can then assemble into complete skeletons. By dragging the fossil pieces around and aligning them to a grid, you unlock the elevator to the next level - and any extra completed fossils mean kaching kaching for you! The game has a lighthearted adventure feel, with hidden secrets, environmental hazards, and no pressure from enemies or timers -just very cosy, satisfying exploration and the freedom to make a looooooooooooong fossil if you want to. And I did. I usually play with keyboard and mouse, and I have to honestly say that the controls are quite hard to grasp when playing that way. The game is developed with a gamepad in mind, and since you can't remap controls, the game is genuinely unplayable without a controller. X and Z aren't the best buttons to hard-map primary and secondary actions to, especially if you have to hold X and then use WASD to move around dragging items. So I dusted off my golden PS4 controller, took an embarrassingly long time to get my game sound to come through my headset instead of my controller's speaker, and got to playing. And boy, am I glad I did! There’s something addictive about running around, dusting off pieces of dead dinosaur and puzzling them together into their true shape or some other monstrocity. Is it respectful to the dinosaur? Probably not, but what is it going to do about it? I’ve encountered a few weird quirks and bugs in my short time playing, such as - I must have mispressed something and suddenly there was a player two! Only that was me… using my keyboard. Another time, a sound effect got stuck, looping through a clicking sound indefinitely, which was fixed with a reload, so nothing game breaking, just annoying. All in all, I had a lot of fun digging around and dragging about some fossils! Another addition to my cute, cosy and quirky curator page.
I love this game but I would really like to see Linux support "UPDATE" i have had another go at the game in Linux and it seems to work on the latest proton.
A very solid choice if you're looking for family friendly couch co-op games to play with your kids. Very fun with a rewarding learning curve that fits both kids and adults. My only gripe is that when you "die" i.e. fall into an endless pit you respawn almost immediately. Why even have an endless pit there then? Would rather see a respawn timer that is at least 5 seconds long.
Jogo muito bom. Só achei os controles dele um pouco ruins, devia ter como mudar as teclas.
