ForRace GT2D is a racing game that offers players the opportunity to compete top down races. With a variety of tracks to choose from and a wide selection of cars, players can test their driving skills and compete against AI opponents. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojAXq4Ul7FU
Top-down arcade racing game that is easy to play and will keep you occupied for some time. Sadly, some design decisions really hurt the experience. The game gets off to a good start thanks to the abundance of manufacturers disguised behind fake brands like Cubaru and Porse. Even though there are many different cars available, a closer look reveals that the number of unique cars is actually quite small because a lot of it is just the same car in a different style. For instance, there are four different models of the Mind Kooper. There are basically three classes. The first is a typical road vehicle, followed by a race car and lastly a Formula 1 car. Each manufacturer usually has one car for each class, but there are exceptions. Although cars have statistics, the price is still the primary indicator that you're looking at an excellent car. You hit a small hindrance in the beginning because you can only afford to buy one car with your available funds. However, the game doesn't specify which car it is, so you must go through every brand to find it. You discover that you require a license once you have the car and are on your way to the races. Actually, if you wish to complete all the races, you need to obtain a number of licenses. These are straightforward tasks that require breaking, turning, and finishing as quickly as you can. If you don't know the track inside and out, including the precise breaking points, winning a gold medal here is impossible. Now that you have your license in the palm of your hand, you can start racing. It will take you days, if not months, to complete the numerous events. You will need to make money by finishing first since you also require a vehicle that is suitable for your license. The fact that you can repeat any race as often as you like to attain the best possible outcome is great. There are no tournaments here that require you to compete in multiple races back-to-back where a single poor race might quickly ruin your entire standing. Driving is easy; all you have to do is steer, accelerate, and brake. The fact that the car won't automatically return to a straight line gives it a distinct arcade vibe. Driving may feel a little loose and create the impression that you are constantly correcting your position on the track if you are not accustomed to these controls. You can repair race-related damage in the pit lane, but unless you deliberately collide with other vehicles, you usually won't need to. With the stock car, you won't get very far, so you'll need to spend a lot of money on several kinds of upgrades. Unfortunately, the difference is not shown on the stats when you select an upgrade. The "purchased" tag on particular item is the only indication that your car is better. So far, so good. Unfortunately, one design decision that seems more interactive on paper but absolutely fails in reality makes the entire experience irritating. The problem is that you have to literally drive to the upgrade workshop, driving school, and races across a small map rather than being able to select them from a menu. It stinks to start out like this with the slow car. In addition, the map is a blank square with nothing significant on it other than the seven spots. What's more, every time you exit a location, you're thrown back to the center of the map. So, if you accidentally press back, you'll have to drive to the location again. The painfully slow 1, 2, 3 countdown before the race and on the main map, which serves no purpose whatsoever, was another thing that bothered me. I shouldn't have to wait for a countdown before I can start driving. These are only a few "quality of life" possibilities that should be reconsidered.
Unfortunately, this game has a lot of potential but falls short in many ways, below I will list some issues I've found and hope that the developer takes note and fixes some of them. - !!VERY IMPORTANT!! Some races are broken. The track that's used in the Leon Cup's 5th race always spawns you in the wrong place, meaning you have to do an extra lap. It's possible, just annoying. A much, much worse one is in the Pejo Cup's 4th race. There seems to be no trigger for the lap, so when you pass the finish line the lap count doesn't increase, making you and the racers drive around infinitely. This literally makes the achievements impossible and I hope it's fixed as soon as possible. EDIT: Just discovered that Diablo Cup race 2 also starts you outside of the map, and it's impossible. Please take a look at all the tracks. EDIT 2: Woody Cup race 3 shows me in 6th place even though i'm 1st and i can't win. - The menus are pretty weird to understand, the buttons are weird and sometimes you select non-existent options and lose your cursor. - After a few races the text during a race disappears (the race time, lap, "Perfect" text etc.) and the game breaks at the end of the race, needing a restart. - Some Quality of Life changes would be nice, like keeping the ghost on or off in the licenses depending on how you left it last time (same with the camera zoom). Also in the licenses menu it would be nice for it to put you on the 1st test you haven't completed yet (instead of at the very first test so you have to scroll a lot every time). It would be nice to have this in the races menu too, just put your cursor on the earliest uncompleted event. Having to drive through the menu is also not the best choice in my opinion, it would be nicer to just have a normal menu so I don't have to drive for a minute to get to the settings. I'd also like to be able to reverse. I saw that the R key is "Reverse Gas" but I don't think it works. - The licenses are very very fun, some are very difficult but satisfying to learn, but the tips don't help at all. I still don't know what "The end is quickly late!" means. That's about everything I can think of. Again, the game is very fun but it desperately needs some polishing (especially on the impossible races). I hope the dev fixes at least the biggest issues. Still going to recommend this game for now, just because it's a cool concept and I'm holding out hope that it's gonna be fixed. EDIT: As nothing has been done to acknowledge these issues, I cannot recommend it. I'm sorry, but this is just unacceptable.

Decent top-down racing game once you figure out how to turn off the godawful music. Check Discussions for the location of the Save files, since there is zero documentation. Important info for getting started: if you want to select something, the Spacebar is your friend. ADDENDUM: This game gets old VERY quickly. I spent more time searching for the save game files than I did playing. The game is based on having the proper "license" to participate in races, and one of the early licenses is, for all intents and purposes, unattainable (there's a YouTube video of it, where the player tries again and again and again before finally ragequitting, and I had much the same experience). So, yes, the game has a buttload of different tracks -- and you'll likely never be able to race on most of them). Changed my review to a thumbs-down. There's just too much damned grief for this game being no better than it is. Check my reviews -- there are *free* games that are better than FRGT2D. (FRGT is an abbreviation for FORGET.)
I love top down racers. I have most of all of them you could buy over all the years. This top down racer is excellent and has a a lot of content. Its sad that i feel this title has been overlooked it stands with the very best in the genre
Oyun gerçekten başarılı ama oyundan imleç yok :d onu çözünüz lütfen. Nostaljik ve zaman geçirmek için gayet başarılı bir oyun olmuş.
