Really great game for something totally free! The controls are something to get used to but it's very much worth looking past. It's also a super interesting addition to the lore, fleshing out a certain character that we haven't gotten many details on before this, as well as a new group that shares the name of the game itself, "third axis", which is honestly a bit funny with this being a 3D entry and all lol also gotta appreciate the good boy being real brave
It's nice game but the controls are poorly made
zbs!

This seems to be a standalone story but still in the Forgotten Hill universe, a place you never want to find yourself in. Unless you're into that kind of thing, I don't judge. The first game in the series made in 3d since previous ones use a 2d surreal art style Oh, and it's free! Which is always a big plus. I started the series in the wrong order. I got Forgotten Hill: Mementoes first because it fit the games I like and it was on sale. After a little browsing through the dev's page, I found that I should've started with First Steps. I noticed The Third Axis was on the Forgotten Hill list but not exactly part of the main line story. So, I decided to play this one before diving into this universe and I am happy to report that I loved it. I'm almost done with First Steps too. Highly recommend the Steam Bundle that includes all the games since you will want to keep going. There is also a new game on the way you can Wishlist (link below). https://store.steampowered.com/app/2891870/Forgotten_Hill_The_Wardrobe/?curator_clanid=36052189 As I mentioned, I really liked this game. It's in 3D with a VR-esque vibe to it (camera movements and pov) although that didn't really sway my opinion. The art style is very similar to that of the 2d games and the escape room puzzles and aspect were really fun. The puzzles were of a normal or standard difficulty, nothing crazy. Controls are standard for a point and click. As far as story, it's there but not very detailed. The most important part - get out of there! Keep in mind that this is a horror game. Although it has no jump scares, it still has some blood/gore and creepies. As I mentioned, it's free and it will give you a peek into Forgotten Hill. Great way to check out if the series is for you. I don't usually play horror games, so this one was almost too much for me. =) The puzzles were just difficult enough. Great atmosphere. The movement system took a little bit of getting used to, but it was fine. After finishing the game, I'm left with just one question : what is the significance of the adoption papers ? But perhaps that is explained in the other games ?
Jeu d'enigme + horreur très sympa à faire !
