Everything about this game from start to finish was done perfectly, i couldn't even come close to recommending it the amount it should be. If you find yourself on this steam page please give this game a shot, you'll feel every ounce of love and dedication the creator put into it and you'll fall in love with it just like me and multiple other people have. 10/10 EASY.
I love you Laura Dagny
I finished this game a few months back and I still think about it. Like this was a very fun Disc One! I loved the main characters and watching how they grew in their chapters! Also there's a lot of charm in these characters, from the main playable ones, to important side characters, to even optional NPCs. It's one of those games that makes the NPCs feel like actual people living in the area, especially in the sidequests. I also enjoyed the main story, & I'm excited to see what happens in Disc Two! Also the battles were pretty fun, and well balanced from what I remember. Some enemies (mainly bosses) do get trickier later into the game with the series of inputs you need to put in to dodge their skills, but nothing impossible. Also yeah most skills require a short DDR-like minigame to successfully deal damage or dodge certain skills. Pretty easy for the most part, but again there's some trickier inputs for more powerful stuff, so be prepared for that. Anyway this game has a good amount of both goofy and serious moments that just made it a real joy to play through. Like damn u can tell there was a lot of love put into FWF. I definitely recommend giving it a try. I have feelings for Arthur.
I incorrectly categorized this RPGMaker game as a Visual Novel in my library, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how well written and well made it was. The story and presentation immediately had me hooked. And apparently I'd already played another game by this developer, Sanguine Melancholia. Unlike Sanguine Melancholia, I didn't see any yaoi subtext in the first five minutes here. But also unlike Sanguine Melancholia, this game has the LGBTQ+ tag, so the only way to find out is to play the game. Thanks for releasing such great games for free; it's cool that Disk Two is in development and will be free, too.
I don't usually leave reviews on the games; but this game really deserves more attention. I played a lot of RPG maker games and I really can recommend to any lover of this genre to try this game. I can't believe how good the game progression is made with huge amount content and many different elements, also really deep personalities of the characters; which is rare to find these days especially for a free game; and I really love how long the gameplay is while the story is really good and interesting for the whole time. A few of the fights were a probably bit more rough for me than I expected but somehow I managed to progress since the story was so good I just had to finish it. I got really invested in the story, so I can't wait for the Disc 2! In the meantime I will try a few more games from this creator because it seems they really know what they are doing. And I also loved the music in the game! The only thing I would say this game is missing is maybe some info sheet with some short non-spoiler guide for a few parts of the game, or something similar, because I am sure I missed some side-content which I found out too late unfortunately because I really wouldn't mind to spend a bit more time playing this game!
