Forget-me-not

I backed this visual novel on kickstarter and i'm really happy how it turned out. It's pretty short,but at the same time not expensive with a really sweet romance story about a couple of girls .Both Iris and Sage a great main couple and has a great chemistry together and side characters Vi and Blake are great too, my favorite was Sage, she's a sweetheart. anyway easy reccomend for yuri visual novel readers or just for people looking for the sweet and short romance story.

Conflict of Interest Notice: I know the developer of this game and received a free copy, with the caveat I review it. The following is my honest opinion. Going into this, I was expecting either a 100% romance story or entirely smut. I'm glad to see that the author wrote a story that manages to toe the line between meaningful, fuzzy feelings with the optional taste of risque. Relationships aside, another nice surprise was that there were actual plot points carrying on outside the main relationship. Namely, the world has more depth than just the main character and her main squeeze. From an artistic perspective, the characters were pretty well drawn, albeit jagged/pixely from being resized (?) but the backgrounds blew me away. I consistently paused at new scenes to take in the scope of what was going on behind the characters. If you're looking for a lovey-romance story with a splash of conflict, this is a solid game to play. The risque scene are optional and easily skipped too if that isn't your style. Thanks for the key, Had a blast playing and voice acting it for you Hex.

I backed this on Kickstarter and I'm happy I did. Really sweet and enjoyable. The characters were really likable and I was invested in seeing them to the end.

I quite like the art style as well as how real the charaters are. Plus Blake being in a skirt is nice too!~ 10/10 Will keep plaing!

An excellent Yuri Visual Novel with great characters and a really interesting story. I wholeheartedly recommend it :)

Forget-me-not is a short kinetic visual novel about two girls and their growing relationship. I was blown away with how good the game is compared to other short games from the genre. Usually, writers are not able to create believable romance that needs to be shown in span of three/four hours. Featherbox Studio delievered great results in this aspect. Avid yuri readers are probably aware that "realistic" novels are rather rare. Forget-me-not is one of these rare gems. Sure, there's some REALLY unusual stuff (||kidnapping||), but 90% of the game feels... real? You don't have many cliche moments that you can find in mangas/other novels. Instead we have some clumsy flirting, making sure that both parts are interested in something more than friendship, first date, important conversations, old relationship... There's a lot of it - everything coherent and engaging. All characters are also really well written. Each of them is truly unique and have positive impact on the story. You just want to cheer on them :) Visuals are solid. Backgrounds and CGs are really high quality, but character sprites were a little out of place. I'm not sure why, but they felt low-res compared to everything else. Maybe it's just the art direction, I'm not sure... Music was totally forgettable, which is not a good sign for a game without voice acting. Good soundtrack can help to convey feelings in some scenes, which is really important in romance genre.
