Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An excellent JRPG in all respects for an RPGMaker class game. The list of positives is long. art music story battle extra features. caveate - no voice acting (though most in this class have none)
still the best game i've ever played, insane amount of content for so cheap. incredible soundtrack, sfx, story, characters, lore, and combat. also a massive amount of postgame content, probably 40+ hours. 11/10 would recommend.

I never thought I'd play such a simple game for nearly 30 hours, but Forever Home managed to make me interested for that long. The story is beautiful, non-linear and a bit confusing at times, but exploring the map is really fun as well as evolving the character and finding new equipment. Totally worth for the price. Recommended.
yes
an rpg maker game? an rpg maker JRPG? that's good??? a pox on whoever designs rpg maker's default graphics, but this game is very cool
I think I've played this on different account before. Well anyway, let's cut to the chase. THIS GAME. Should be the new definitive for all things 2D Top Down JRPG benchmark. It is excellently written and designed. Stock RPG Maker graphics, yes, but how the author of this game has managed to successfully sync the default assets with custom assets is very praisable. If I can only choose one game to hold in check my enthusiasm for video games such as Wakfu and Ragnarok Online(iRO1), This is the one. FOREVER HOME.
This game is really great as far as jrpgs go.. fun combat with a lot of customization, unique items that do interesting things, fun and interesting story with fun characters... it hits all the marks that gets me invested.
feels like a 90 rpg! i can*t believe you can buy this gem for under 1 € - its worth much more tbh! just buy it!
If you're on the fence about this, just grab it. Fantastic value for $1. It's got sidequests, a FF7-style materia system as well as other ways to learn skills, a crafting system, environmental puzzles that even I can figure out, and boss fights that feel challenging, but not frustrating. Also the plot is compelling, and the characters are genuinely well-written, unlike so many RPGmaker games. I have paid a lot more for a lot less.
