Football Boardroom is a football management sim from the boardroom, not the dugout. Run your club in weekly turns: hire managers, sign players, manage finances, and climb a four-tier English pyramid. Watch matchday unfold, step in when it counts, and fund the club with your hard-earned cash.

About
You hire the manager. You set the budget. You negotiate the sponsors, expand the stadium, and decide whether to push for promotion or steady the ship. Matchday plays out live, but your job is boardroom influence, not touchline coaching. Text the manager. Demand a sub. Tell them to push forward or sit deep. Two interventions per match. Use them wisely.
Every week, the club needs a decision. Every season, the league table tells the story.
Start with a director backstory, ex-player investor, city financier, lifelong fan with a windfall, or media operator. Your choices shape starting cash, club reputation, fan loyalty, and how the press sees you.
Pick the English league pyramid and starting division, from the County League at the bottom to the Apex League at the top. More nations are planned during Early Access. Take over a pre-made club with history and character, or build your own; name, colours, badge, motto, the lot.
This is chairman football, not spreadsheet football, but the spreadsheets still bite.
Squad & transfers — buy, sell, and negotiate deals through summer and winter windows. Watch release clauses, wage bills, and squad morale.
Manager — hire tacticians with distinct styles, formations, and man-management skills. Keep them happy, or pay the severance.
Academy — invest in youth intake, develop prospects, and promote the next generation.
Stadium & commercial — expand capacity, upgrade facilities, set ticket prices, and land shirt and naming-rights deals.
Identity — kit design, merch, branding, and the kind of club fans actually want to follow.
Promotion spots are scarce. Relegation is real. The pyramid has four tiers and twenty-plus clubs per division. Climb it, or fall.
When your team kicks off, follow the action on the live matchday screen, commentary, key moments, and momentum shifts. You’re not the coach on the touchline. Your manager picks the XI and runs the tactical detail day to day. You set board direction, review the squad, and step in with limited live matchday calls when it matters.
You watch, react, and intervene like a director who actually owns the place.
Before kick-off, review the announced XI, atmosphere, and home anthem on big nights.
Your personal fortune and the club treasury are separate problems. Invest personal cash when the club is skint. Withdraw dividends when times are good. Use the bank. Manage the mogul life.
Expand into side businesses, at portfolio level, set each venture to grow, steady, or harvest. They won’t demand your full attention, but they will fund your ambitions… or drain them.
Football Boardroom runs in weekly turns, one decision layer at a time, always moving forward. Difficulty scales starting resources. Easy gives you breathing room. Hard makes every transfer feel like a gamble.
No game studio. No hardware R&D. No distractions. Just football, finance, and the long climb from lower-league obscurity to top-flight pressure.
Build the club.
Back the manager.
Survive the board.
Win the argument in the stands.

Finally! A football manager game that understands my skill set: shouting my opinions from a comfortable chair while someone else (the manager) does the hard part (and takes all the blame when things go wrong)! Most games like this are different in that you are the manager here you are the board room head so its a new perspective. The game nails the feeling of ownership without asking you to micromanage absolutely everything. Really enjoying it so far, keen to see what gets added in future updates.
This game is completely made with AI. In itsself, it wouldn't be a crime if it were not for the fact that not human intervention has been used to correct the madness generates by the machines. The game itself has enormous potential but it must be managed. For example: 1) I have a greek team, male football team. Half of my players has called Maria, Ekaterina, Heleni! Thoe who come for the youth team are all Spanish. Half of the coach on the market had the same name!!! 2) It's not possible to set manually the starting eleven overruling the coach: there are instruction but it don't work and also in the menu it display only the firsts 18 player of the rooster. 3) I can leave the coach to sign palyer on the basis of an estabilished budget: the coach made it, but he guaranteed to the player a wage around 15 times more the playerss i had in my rooster! But... i can sell immediatly my useless players (worst rating, 34 years old) by a fee 10 times greater than their market value! 4) The navigability of the various pagess and subpages is crazy, there has been no rationalization, there will be at least 80 illogical voices scattered in 30 submenus in which to go and find what we are looking for: this is 90% of timeplay, find things in the submenus. 5) the live match is a mess, totally a mess. You can't understand anything, there are no real time evaluations, if you try to interact with the coach as it sseems possible, the live goes back to minute 1! 6)ok, it's a game in development. But our money is real, not in development. If you have to s@@it this stuff, be kind enough to keep it in your server another couple of months before releasing it. And play it. Play it before the release. And al least correct the macroscopic shocks. Sorry for my bad english but it's not my native languages,... and i'm not a machine, i wrote with my hands and my head. And i reread everything i produce: unfortunately for me i am from another era, in which we knew the sense of modesty and the sense of shame.
