Defiantly a fun game. The game play was simple and straight forward. The atmosphere was creepy but enjoyable. The jump scares were scary and timely. This game defiantly made me jump a few times. The story was easy to follow and was very pleasing to uncover. For a first game this was it. The game was completed in about an hour and a half which was perfect and sweet. My only gripe was not being able to pick up key items before initiating the event. Otherwise the game was a pleasure and I wish it had more chapters!

Folcroft Monastery was a fresh step into a dark world that left me wanting more! I am a glutton for sound design and Black Knife Games nailed it! I loved every second of this game. The puzzles were well thought out and not overly hard if you payed attention to your surroundings, the jump scares were well done, they were peppered in and used in moderation. The cadence of the story was well paced and well written. I could tell the dev really though about the direction of the story and ensured everything made sense along the way! I cant wait to see more from BKG !!! <3

Die Grafik ist eigentlich gar nicht schlecht. +Das Spiel ist gut "ausgeleuchtet" und enthält schöne satte Farben +Das Spiel läuft flüssig +Die allgemeine Vertonung ist okay -Keine deutschen Untertitel -30-45 Minuten sind etwas wenig Spielzeit -Man kann nicht rennen, nicht springen, und in die Hocke gehen [h3]Ladet mein PS4 Controller-Profil herunter, damit lässt sich das Spiel relativ gut spielen.[/h3]

This game is short but honestly creep as hell and I'm not gonna lie, even though I played it more than once and knew the scares were coming, I jumped every single time. Great game for a great price. The puzzles were creative and loved the artwork. Really looking forward to another installment and hope the devs continue the series.

Well, I don't normally review games but this is was just sweet enough for me to take my time in writing this. Granted I flew through the game but the story flowed, the jump scares are really good some more predictable than others. The nun poking her head around objects was comical with moments of UH OH something is happening and I am heading in the right direction. Overall a very decent game if you want to kill time, runs smoothly and flows nicely. Would recommend if you want a quick game to kill time and you don't mind the walking about. A good 8/10 for me!

Juego muy cortito, los jumpscares fueron muy baratos pero por el precio pues es lo que obtienes se nota que es el primer trabajo del desarrollador ya que al principio del juego puedes irte al otro lado y escalar las montañas y salirte del mapa le falto ponerle barreras invisibles ya que te sales del mapa y pues buggeas el juego fuera de eso pues me gusto.

I am not one to play scary games but after seeing this game i had to play it. The jump scares got a few times but it was worth it in the end. Playing through the game gave me goosebumps practically the whole time which for a scary game i guess is a plus. For someone who is a scaredy-cat like i would still recommend this game. I also cant wait to see what the studio has planned for the future.

The only negative for me was the jumpscares started to be to frequent, and quite early on I could determine when the jumpscares would occur. not gonna say how, I don't want to spoil. But all in all the game was very well put together and optimised to perfection.

Buen juego de terror cortito y sencillo que destaca por su ambientación y la historia que esconde el monasterio. El apartado gráfico y sonoro están bastante bien y en mi gameplay no he tenido ningún problema de rendimiento. Ahora bien, cosas que mejoraría serían la iluminación de la linterna, el poder desplazarte un poco más deprisa, y disponer de un menú con los objetos encontrados. También estaría bien que en momentos de sustos, la cámara se enfocara automáticamente al lugar donde ocurre, ya que, alguna vez, algún susto u acontecimiento paranormal te lo puedes perder por no mirar al lugar correcto. Todas estas mejoras creo que harían el juego un tanto más inmersivo y mejor desarrollado. En general, lo recomiendo y espero que haya una secuela para ver como sigue la historia, pues al parecer así lo marca el final del juego.
