FlyWings 2018 Flight Simulator

This game is a scam! The first mission is undoable as you can't even get onto the runway. Also there are hardly any planes avaibale in the game most of them have to be bought as DLC. Don't waste your money it's not worth it.

So uh, yeah. I've been hoping to find a flight sim to practice flying for fun while bad weather has me grounded that isnt outdated like FSX, and wow. I should not have spent nearly 30 bucks on this. Only 15 minutes in and holy cow is this sim bad. I don't have a joystick, and I don't know if this would be an issue with said joystick, but the elevators on the cessnas do not return to any position, like any realistic plane does, so its kinda like flying with the trim. As a mouse and keyboard player, most of the controls start off as completely unbound, and the "tutorial" doesn't actually tell you HOW to do anything, it just says like "throttle up and go to the runway" which any pilot would know to do, except it doesnt tell you how to throttle up. Come to find out, it has no default keyboard binding for throttle advancing. You have to find your way to the settings and bind it yourself. I'm fine with only cessnas in the base game, cessnas are what I was looking to fly anyway. But I mean come on guys, the flying in this game isnt anything like realistic, the camera feels drunk, and the fact that the elevators have no position they can return to means that it constantly feels like you can't stop pulling up. I wouldnt say this is a scam, but I would say it is far from worth the 26 bucks I had to pay for it. Heck, Kerbal Space Program is a better flight simulator, and it's not even primarily a flight sim. Devs, come on. 26 bucks is not a fair price for this hunk of junk, I have seen better games offered for free.

This game is a steaming pile of trash. DO NOT BUY IT! It is a scam and is no where near being worth it. I would do a pros and cons list, but its not worth it as there are no pros, anyway I'll list as many cons as I can think of: 1. You can clip through buildings 2. The game is never updated and has just been left to rot. 3. The buildings on the ground that aren't at airports are just pictures. 4. Graphics are absolutely disgusting 5. You fly on maps you can't actually fly around the world. 6. You only get a few small planes to use and that is it. Everything else you have to buy as DLC which is also way too over priced. 7. Most missions are impossible to complete 8. Its extremely buggy 9. There is no game play at all 10. The developers put no work into this game and just made it for a quick cash grab 11. There is literally a free online flight simulator that is 10 times better than this that requires no download (Its called Geofs / Google earth online flight simulator if you are interested) 12. I know nothing about planes and or how they work, but I am 99% sure that this game is extremely unrealistic 13. Most of what the developers say about the game are lies. I have definitely missed so much for the cons. If this doesn't convince you to not buy it, I don't know what will. All I can say is you will regret buying this heavily. The only good thing I ever got out of this game is that I make sure when I buy games in the future I don't get scammed. Also, I never really write reviews, this game is just so terrible that I feel as if I have to. TLDR: This game is a scam, way to pricey, the developers are liars, there is no game play and the game is filled with bugs, you get a few planes to start off with and the others you have to buy that are overpriced and just don't buy it, you will regret it soon.

Don't wast your money on this game. Game not worth it, NO planes to pick form. Game together is crap

Complete rubbish. Attempted this on a Mac which was well within the recommended specs, and it was completely unplayable. I'll try to get a refund, but good grief, what a waste of money.

Ok so CLEARLY the person who made FlyWings 2018 is a person who thought flying a plane is as easy as firewalling a throttle and rotating. First of all, THERE ARE NO PHYSICS. There are no physics in this flight sim, you can do a barrel roll or go inverted or even a high speed dive and you don't fall apart. Second of all, there isn't much of a variety of aircraft to choose from, unless you're buying an overpriced DLC. Third of all, there is no ATC communication or live cockpit instruments. I hate people doing this, you can't read instruments and just have to trust your gut. I highly recommend X-Plane 11, it is an amazing flight simulator with great graphics, global scenery, live cockpit and physics. It also has an FMS you can program or if you're an Airbus pilot, FMSC. So install X-Plane 11 before you buy this! Seriously, it's a waste of 40 bucks.
