it's called fly2k because the game allows you to fly 2000 times (possibly more)
I've played over an hour on the demo and loved the music, vibes and gameplay, so I think I have played this game a little too much already. I was expecting a little more in terms of leaderboards/scores, and maybe different levels. But I have been playing 10 minutes on the full game, and I have completed two playthroughs already haha, my first playthrough was my first successful one. Very fun game, would recommend at least to play the demo but was just really hoping there'd be a bit more to it.
This game undertands perfectly what it is! Amazing throwback aesthetic, great music and UI. The gameplay won't be for everyone, it is quite simple but when you get going it works quite well. It reminds me of something like Pilot Wings and QWOP, with controls that take some time to grapple but eventually feel natural.

Super simple mechanics and concept held up by a transcendental visual style. I wish it had a little more pop here and there, but it's a good way to spend a quick 20-40 minutes!
This is a cool game. I like it. You will too.
nice music I like that you can recover from hitting the spiked obstacles if you have enough flight altitude Has a very good 'just one more try' type of addiction once you get into it
I got played the demo and picked up the main game. I find myself sucked into playing one more run over and over again trying to get through the second gate. :)
Really gorgeous, love the visuals. Gameplay is great, but I think stage 2 might be harder than stages 3 and 4! Would love to see more stages, an infinite mode or some kind of unlocks after beating a run. Really cool experience, will probably come back to this one every so often.
Very much enjoying the sense of speed & the music. There's a great overall vapor-wave vibe to the environment, and the dynamic colors & music progression as you go faster and faster are great. I'm a handful of runs in, and I can't tell what my "high score" is just from the menus alone. Maybe that's unlocked the further I get, maybe it's something that could potentially be added in an update? Either way, I'm stoked on the feeling of getting better at lining up my little butterfly through the rings. Fun times! (Also, this game ran great for me via Crossover on macOS and via GameHub on Android. Woo!)
