Great upgrade from the first one. But it needs a patch to set it up properly to 16:9 because now it is stretched.

Автомобильное пopнo – и этим всë сказано. Игра для тех, кто на xyю вертел всю серию Need for Speed, а симуляторам вроде Gran Turismo и Assetto Corsa предпочитает динамичный, дерзкий и брутальный геймплей под axyeнный саундтрек. FlatOut не перегружен лишними механиками и контентом. Присутствует тюнинг, но не визуальный. Аркадное управление, но не лишающее вас челленджа. Потрясающая модель повреждения автомобилей, которая до сих пор дает под хвост подавляющему большинству игр. Трассы усеянные десятками, сотнями и даже тысячами разрушаемых объектов, за уничтожение которых вас щедро награждают нитрухой. Игра не просто поощеряет вас за отмороженность, но и активно подталкивает к такому стилю вождения. Прогрессия. Нередко сталкивался с людьми, которые совсем не котируют стритрейсерский этап, якобы слишком огромные скорости и движок игры для них не предназначен. От части можно согласиться с этим утверждением, но на мой взгляд, чем дальше вы продвигаетесь, тем интереснее играть. Только в стритрейсерском этапе подавляющее количество заездов заканчивается уничтожением 90% соперников, при этом нет необходимости жертвовать темпом гонки. Хаос происходит сам по себе. В игре имеется множество мини режимов и каскадерские трюки. Последние меня совсем не интересуют, так как сильно теряют в динамике, а вот к остальным вопросов не имею. Графика. Графон устарел, но рвотных позывов не вызывает, к тому же мы здесь из-за уникального и захватывающего геймплея, а не ради 4К текстурок. Вердикт. FlatOut 2 игра прямиком из тех времен, когда солнце светило ярче, а трава была зеленее. Когда разработчики не рвались за "реализмом" (и дело тут совсем не в отсутствии технологий), а вкладывали душу и силы в геймплейную составляющую. Бессмертная классика 10/10

Классика дестракшн гонок, так ещё и с работающим даже спустя 20 лет онлайном (не пустым). Разные режимы, разные машины, море веселья.
AWE-SOME! The game came out 20 years ago, but to this day it is still very freakin' fun! Vaseline lens bloom can date the game generation quite precisely, and the soundtrack is the product of the generation. But the gameplay does not feel dated in the slightest. Catch-up algorithm is very competent, you are never bored. Tracks are very conducive to insane speed crashes with long straights and tight curves where one can easily lose some speed and get T-boned to oblivion. Cars are handling very well, there are few obstacles that stop you dead. You just go. Go through barns, shopping malls, weak walls, your mum, parked cars, greenhouses. Then you pin an opponent to your hood and slam them against the wall giggling like an idiot. Pure joy. Worth playing in 2026 even if you don't have any nostalgia.

É impressionante como um jogo de 20 anos atrás estava tão a frente de seu tempo, com um física tão realista até para os dias de hoje, e uma ambientação tão viva, estamos falando de uma época que a tecnologia era simples e básica ainda sim as empresas faziam milagre e entregavam o impossível, hoje há recursos ilimitados e tudo ficou mais porco e preguiçoso. Esse foi o 3° jogo que joguei no meu ps2 recém comprado em 2007 quando eu ainda tinha 11 anos inclusive ainda os tenho até hoje, jogá-lo aqui no pc foi como reviver o passado, fora que o modo online ainda tem jogadores presentes. Esse jogo é a lembrança de um passado que os jogos bons existiam em sua maioria, tudo era feito com dedicação, uma lembrança de um tempo que provavelmente não voltará nunca mais.
