Find or Be Found is an asymmetric co-op horror game. Go on heists as a pair of burglars looking for the most valuable items in haunted houses. Locate the specific item to earn money and progress, but have a look out during your search because you're not alone.
Play as either the hacker or the robber. Only the hacker knows what to steal and where to find it, and only the robber inside the house can grab it. Communication is key.
As the hacker, you are the only one who knows what the item looks like, where it is, and when the monster is nearby. You must guide the robber using maps and cameras.
Describe the item
Check your cameras
Manage resources
As the robber, locate your way around the house, bring back the item described, and hide when the monster comes. Be fast and discrete, and don't make any mistakes.
Locate and steal the items
Hide from the monster
Communicate your location
If you survive the heist, use the loot to buy and upgrade your tools and gadgets. Raise the stakes and be prepared for everything.
Communication tools

And more..!
Only through communication can you and your partner in crime survive the horrors that await you. Find or Be Found is a 2 players co-op horror game, where one player plays as the Hacker and the other as the Burglar. The objective of the game is to fulfill a money quota every 3 days so we can pay our debt; to do so, every day you will get to steal 3 items from a house, but only the hacker can see those items, so they will have to describe it to the burglar, who will have to go through the whole house in search of the exact item, while avoiding the monstrous enemy, to get some money. Of course, this sounds too easy for the hacker and too hard for the burglar, right? Well, the hacker will have to deal with a variety of events that can get you both killed if not solved right in time. I, honestly, really really like the core idea of the gameplay. However, there are way too many issues. Starting with performance (which developers already said is going to stay like that). It's just terrible even in the lowest settings. In the burglar side, there's way too much collision, giving place to annoying map traversal and a few bugs (classic falling through map). Also, like I mentioned before, there's an enemy in this game, who will instantly kill you if he gets his hands on you. With that being said, it's hard enough to be constantly hiding from him, without mentioning the fact that he can see you through walls and through floors, sometimes trying to catch you through them, making the experience unfair and frustrating at times. On the hacker side, like I mentioned, there are series of problems you need to solve. My main 2 complains are that, on one hand, and this has to be programmed like that, oftenly (way too oftenly) 2 events happen at the exact same time, one being the ghost (where you need cameras to solve) and pc out (which turns off the cameras), making it almost impossible to get it clear, especially with that annoying font they decided to use for user and password. My second main issue as a hacker is that one event that can get you killed is that they will drop a cursed item inside your room and you need to get rid of it... Well, sometimes you can't... I mean, you do it, but it stays there and there's nothing you can do about it, so you might just die because of it. And that bug happens way too often (around 30%-50% of the time), forcing you to lose days, which is terrible, consdering the nature of the game. I would honestly not be giving a negative review if it wasn't because devs are already working on a new game and it doesn't really feel like they will fix any of these issues, considering they have been there for almost a year. Anyways, a good concept of a game that was ruined by all these issues I mentioned. An experience that feels like a mix of fun and frustration. I loved playing this game with my friend overseas, but my only issue or "nitpick" is the unoptimization of the game. Despite the low system requirements, it is an absolute slog to play for such graphics. When the game is more optimized and less demanding to run, I'll remove this review for a nicer one.

Right from the getgo, this game is phenomenal, lots of interactability and little bits you need to get accustomed to which can feel incredibly rewarding to nail down since you get faster and faster with getting to your locations and grabbing as many items as you can before you have to leave. About 2.5-3 of the hours I spent playing was completely learning just exactly how to fully do everything and know what to look out for, partly due to the fact that the tutorial was very quick and didn't really go into much depth about each aspect of both sides, one such example I could provide was the clipboard and where the item types can be found. My friend, who played hacker for 95% of the 4 hours, didn't know there was a clipboard for the items until I wanted to try out hacker for one game where I found it immediately, from then on, it was smooth sailing, with them telling me where to go and where to check for whichever items. Onto a few of the issues I personally had with the game, however. One thing that I think should be a feature (If it isn't already, we weren't sure because it wasn't explained) would be the house lighting system and how it should try to deter the monster from going to that floor for however long you keep the lights on, since we sort of gave up with the lights in the first hour since I honestly didn't need them. This would give an incentive to use what little time you do have with the lights on to try and find the items you need without much fear of the monster breathing down your neck. Another issue that I ran into a lot would be the monster spawn camping the door to the house way too often. The monster would see me from way too far away, run to the door, and just stay there for way too long, killing my time and waiting for him to go away, thus resulting in less items from the house overall. Something that I'm not sure should be fixed or looked at but would definitely help would be the monster's vision being astronomically large and seemingly unfair at times. I've went into the house so many times with a bunch of different layouts and sometimes I'll just be seen from so far away even if I don't have my flashlight on and I'm crouching, with the only real designated hiding spots being the tables or wardrobes which even then could be scarce if you get unlucky with some of the spawns. So, again, I'm not sure if this should be looked at, but if possible it would be nice to see some changes with the monster's detection. And one small issue I had with my few games as hacker would be that the ghost could spawn while your pc rebooted, which almost always resulted in one of the light bulbs being broken since I couldn't input the correct login, then swap over to the cameras and flash the ghost in the small amount of time where the ghost actually shows up. But, to wrap up the review, I genuinely had a blast playing, I think both sides are really fun and even though I played robber for pretty much the entire time, both sides feel very fleshed out with a lot of the danger being placed on the robber's hands while a lot of other miscellaneous tasks are allocated to the hacker, leading to a very enjoyable experience all around when you finally do understand your tasks and how to be efficient as possible. While I do have some small problems with the game, this does not detract from the experience as a whole and I give it a very very solid 8/10. I honestly thought the game was going to be MUCH worse when I played the tutorial but no, since the game is very cheap I would suggest buying this if horror games and working with a partner in interesting ways piques your interest whatsoever, you will be pleasantly surprised.
for the few bugs this game is really fun. I will say it's annoying to have a ghost pop up and then have the monitor cut off making it impossible to stop the light from blowing or having the monster glitch on the table and then grabbing you instantly the moment you step out (flash didn't work), but ive been having alot of fun with my friend and can't wait to stream it and make clips for tiktok!!
Great with a friend, quite scary as robber and quite stressful as hacker, and it runs very smoothly. The downsides are that the jumpscares aren’t very scary and there are enough monsters.
super fun with friends :3
Its actually scary so thats cool, but idk 5/10
