I was a bit sceptical about the price but my goodness there is so much content, I would even go as far to say that there's too much. I'm over 2 hours in and still on world 1/12. You can clearly tell a lot of love was put into this game! it's very fun and you can unlock different customisations too

Find Matt's Cats is a delightful hidden-object game that proves even a simple concept can become memorable when supported by thoughtful design and genuine passion. Developed and published by Matt Roszak, the game invites players into a colorful adventure where the objective extends beyond spotting cleverly concealed cats. It combines relaxing exploration with a heartfelt story about four independent developers striving to keep their dream alive, giving the experience far more emotional depth than is typically expected from the genre. The result is a game that feels both comforting and rewarding, balancing lighthearted fun with an underlying message about creativity, friendship, and perseverance. The game's foundation is built around searching for hidden cats scattered throughout 84 handcrafted levels, each featuring its own distinct theme and visual identity. Rather than recycling layouts or relying on repetitive environments, every stage introduces fresh scenery filled with intricate details that encourage careful observation. The hidden cats blend naturally into their surroundings without feeling unfairly placed, making every successful discovery satisfying. As players advance, the puzzles become increasingly clever, requiring sharper attention while maintaining an accessible difficulty curve that welcomes players of all skill levels. One of the most impressive aspects of Find Matt's Cats is the amount of care invested in its level design. Every location is packed with decorative elements, interactive objects, and visual storytelling that make exploration enjoyable even when players momentarily forget their primary objective. Hidden pathways, optional discoveries, and cleverly placed surprises reward curiosity, ensuring that each stage offers more than a straightforward scavenger hunt. This attention to detail helps the game maintain a consistently engaging pace throughout its lengthy campaign and prevents the experience from becoming repetitive despite the large number of levels. The inclusion of additional collectibles and optional secrets further enriches the gameplay. Players who enjoy completing every challenge will appreciate the incentive to revisit previous stages in search of overlooked items and hidden content. These extra objectives add meaningful replay value while remaining entirely optional, allowing casual players to enjoy the adventure at their own pace without feeling pressured to achieve perfect completion. This flexible approach makes the game equally enjoyable for completionists and players simply looking for a relaxing escape. What truly distinguishes Find Matt's Cats from many other hidden-object titles is its narrative. Instead of existing solely as a collection of puzzles, the game tells the story of four friends working together to save their independent game studio from difficult circumstances. This ongoing narrative creates an emotional connection that gives the gameplay greater purpose, transforming each new level into another step in the characters' journey. The storytelling is presented in a natural way that complements rather than interrupts the relaxed pace, allowing players to become invested in both the search for hidden cats and the struggles of the people behind the adventure. The visual presentation is another standout feature. Every environment is illustrated with vibrant colors, expressive artwork, and playful details that make exploring each location a pleasure. The artistic direction successfully balances clarity with challenge, ensuring that hidden cats are cleverly disguised without becoming frustratingly impossible to locate. Small environmental animations and charming visual touches give each scene a lively atmosphere, making the world feel dynamic and inviting from beginning to end. Complementing the visuals is a soothing soundtrack that reinforces the game's calm and welcoming tone. Gentle background music and subtle sound effects create an atmosphere perfect for slow-paced exploration, allowing players to immerse themselves without distraction. The audio design supports the relaxing nature of the gameplay while adding warmth to the emotional moments presented throughout the story. Although the game is intentionally designed as a laid-back experience rather than an action-heavy challenge, it consistently succeeds at keeping players engaged through thoughtful progression, varied environments, rewarding exploration, and meaningful storytelling. It never attempts to manufacture difficulty through frustration, instead relying on intelligent level design and satisfying discoveries to maintain player interest. This philosophy makes it an ideal choice for fans of hidden-object games as well as anyone looking for a peaceful yet surprisingly heartfelt gaming experience. Find Matt's Cats is an excellent example of how a familiar genre can feel fresh when supported by creativity and genuine craftsmanship. Its combination of beautifully designed levels, enjoyable hidden-object gameplay, optional collectibles, emotional storytelling, and polished presentation creates an experience that remains consistently entertaining from start to finish. Matt Roszak has delivered a relaxing adventure filled with charm and personality that stands out among its peers, making it an easy recommendation for players seeking a cozy game with substance beneath its adorable premise. Rating: 10/10
By far the best hidden objects game I've played. A really cute art style and there's a lot of content!
NIFTY GAME
reaaal good i liked it a lot
It's not as easy as it looks. I enjoy the dialog, but there is an option to turn that off. It's fun and sometimes challenging to find the extra goals. There are hints available when I really get stuck. My only complaint is that I have to choose the language every time I play. Overall I am enjoying this game. I recommend it to anyone who likes hidden object games. I will purchase future games from this company.
