Minimal cats to find with none being overly hard.
One of the easiest first levels of the series (for me), The first level also has all the achievements too. The bonus level has some much harder to find cats. I really love this series, and they are all must-buys the second they come out. The recent name change (due to copyright, I believe) threw me off for a second. Some links are still broken because of the name change. The next one in the series (10: Valentines) is really challenging.
Immer wieder sehr nett!

FIND KITTENS 9: Aliens continues the established hidden-object formula of the series while introducing a playful science-fiction setting that gives this installment its own personality. Developed and published by Very Very LITTLE Studio, the game places players in a strange extraterrestrial world where one hundred missing kittens are concealed throughout a large illustrated environment. At first glance the premise appears extremely simple, but the appeal comes from the careful exploration of every corner of the map and the satisfaction of gradually uncovering its secrets. The game's most distinctive feature is its visual progression system. Players begin in a mostly monochromatic world and slowly restore color to the environment as more kittens are discovered. This mechanic provides a constant sense of achievement, making every successful find feel meaningful. Even though the gameplay revolves entirely around searching for hidden cats, the gradual transformation of the scenery creates a rewarding loop that encourages players to continue exploring. Watching an alien settlement become brighter and more vibrant over time adds an extra layer of motivation beyond simply increasing a counter. The alien theme is where this entry truly separates itself from previous hidden-cat adventures. The world is packed with imaginative science-fiction details, including unusual buildings, futuristic technology, spacecraft, laboratories, domed habitats, and quirky extraterrestrial residents. The developers use these elements not only as decoration but also as opportunities to cleverly disguise kittens within the scenery. Some cats blend naturally into machinery, architectural details, and decorative objects, making observation an essential part of the experience. The setting feels whimsical rather than serious, embracing a lighthearted tone that fits the game's relaxing nature. Artistically, the hand-drawn presentation remains one of the strongest aspects of the series. The illustrations are detailed without becoming overwhelming, striking a balance that allows players to enjoy the scenery while still facing a reasonable challenge. Every section of the map feels carefully crafted, and the abundance of small visual details encourages players to slow down and examine their surroundings. The art style is colorful, charming, and approachable, making the game suitable for players of all ages. The gameplay itself is intentionally straightforward. There are no enemies, timers, resource systems, or complicated mechanics to manage. Instead, the experience focuses entirely on exploration and discovery. This simplicity makes the game ideal for casual sessions, whether players want to spend a few minutes searching for a handful of kittens or dedicate a longer period to completing the entire map. The relaxed pacing is further enhanced by the calm atmosphere, creating an experience that feels more like a digital coloring book mixed with a hidden-object puzzle than a traditional video game. While the accessible design is one of the game's greatest strengths, it may also limit its appeal for some players. Those seeking deep mechanics, strategic decision-making, or a substantial narrative may find the experience too repetitive. The objective remains largely unchanged from beginning to end, and the enjoyment depends heavily on how much a player appreciates hidden-object gameplay. Fortunately, the alien theme and the evolving visuals help prevent the formula from becoming completely stagnant, giving players enough variety to stay engaged throughout the hunt. Another positive aspect is the game's commitment to providing a stress-free experience. There is no punishment for taking your time, and the environment invites careful observation rather than rushed reactions. This design philosophy makes the game especially appealing to players who enjoy cozy, low-pressure experiences. It succeeds at delivering exactly what it promises: a relaxing search for adorable kittens in a creative and visually appealing setting. Overall, FIND KITTENS 9: Aliens is a charming hidden-object game that effectively combines cute collectibles with a fun science-fiction backdrop. Its colorful visual progression, detailed artwork, and accessible gameplay create an enjoyable experience for fans of casual puzzle games. Although it does not attempt to reinvent the genre or introduce major innovations, it excels at providing a relaxing and satisfying adventure built around exploration and discovery. Rating: 8/10
These are definitely some of the better made "cat clickers" here on Steam, which you can tell a lot of care and effort went into the art for them. The lineart is clean and the cats are well hidden-- and actually hidden, not gimmicky with mismatched lineart widths! It's a nice breath of fresh air. Thank you dev!!
Quick and easy hidden find some of the kittens can be difficult to find. Was fun but doesn't really have replay value once all kittens are found and all achievements are obtained But is worth it for the price. goes great with my morning coffee. It was fun and once all kittens are found in one area the black and white picture gets colored section by section as all kittens are found! 9/10 hidden find very cute!
