FIND KITTENS 9: Aliens is a Nice but Way too Short Game

What this game is:
A hidden animals and objects game, like others found on Steam, but with some twists, such as hidden object categories.
How does it work?
It is a basic point and click game with a twist. You have to find all the animals and objects hidden in a big Black & White picture with a few animations. You are presented with a specific type of animal or object to find. Once you've found all of these, you are presented with another series of animals or objects to find until you've found all of them.
How does it perform?
Very easy to play. You click on each animal/object you find and its colour changes. Once all animals/objects have been found in one zone, the whole zone colours. There are three zones to complete in the game, and it is possible to buy a DLC in order to roudble playing time.
The good points:
Simple and relaxing game. Getting the Achievements is easy but challenging at times and there are no apparent bugs. Takes around 360 MB on your HD (without the DLCs), and will run on a 10 years old PC. There is a help function. You can expect a maximum of an hour on it (30 minutes for me) entertainement out of it. Can be played on the Steam Deck but with some limitations. There is a good settings introduction screen allowing you to tweak the game more to your taste. You will be paying well spent money for the gaming time you will get. This game is more challenging compared with the other Find All Games.
The bad points:
There are no controller functions programmed into this game for zooming, so playing on the Steam Deck may prove more difficult. On a PC it won't be a problem. There are no Steam Trading Cards. Nous need to play a DLC to get an hour ot more of playing.
My take on this:
If you like arelatively cheap and relaxing games, this is it. Recommended for Achievements Hunters, and hidden objects game lovers, specially if on sale. Evene at full price, this game is worth it for the people that like the genre, taken the work that was put into it.
This was my first game of this series (or find all kind of game) and while it's so short, it was insanely satisfying! I definitely would eventually get the rest now that I've played this one. It was ultimately just fun to kind kitties, and the artwork was adorable (A+++ for theme ofc), and the picture coloring in after you find all of them I thought was really charming. Nice, simple and cute!

Cute and cheap, no complaints!
If only we COULD take all the cats and blast them off to a distant planet. It would be heaven!
I love these seek & finds! Very Very Little Studios has another hit in their long lineup of modestly priced puzzles!
The game is very very very short, and the drawings start off very simple, but as you complete the mini areas, you get some colors and it looks nicer. I actually thought the art would be perfect for coloring pages, and I saw they offer it, so I'm gonna get those too! About the puzzle itself and arts, I've had better "find the cat" games, but for a quick chilled play, this is still a good recommendation :)
I've played almost all of this series & all, or nearly all, of the DLCs. I've noticed a pattern: the DLCs are ALWAYS made easier than the main game/level. Almost yinz get a little lazy (not trying to be nasty or rude) when creating an extra level to play instead of giving us another creative level with interesting hidden cats. I wasn't sure before, but after playing 9 of these, pretty sure I'm right. Maybe it's only me thinking this. But reviews are a person's opinion.
Beautiful as always. For me personally, the music is the best part of this game. Very calming. Im not a big fan of the Find Kittens/Cats series compared to the Find All series. The reason for this is the abstract objects makes it a bit more annoying for me. But overall great game. Great work dev!
