A fantastic little game! It's a nice spin on a classic, let you juggle different tetronimos for some awesome tactical play. The difficulty curve seems well paced, it starts nice and relaxing, and soon becomes a little harder to handle. Once it speeds up the blocks are harder to manipulate, and mistakes are less forgiving.
For everyone waiting on a VR Tetris game for the PC? This is the title to play. For the basics, this game is functional for the way it is supposed to be played. * You can Twist your wrists while holding onto a Tetraminos (The controls are a bit clunky, but once you get a hang of them, it becomes easier) I was planning on giving this game a good stream or two on my twitch, but the only issue with that is that solo/single player Tetris games aren't really entertaining for viewers unless you are "extremely good"... Now I'm as skilled of a player as the next guy, but where the real fun is to be had lies in its multiplayer mode. * Which to put nicely, is Dead... (Not a single person was to be found when I first installed the game and played for about the .3 hours I have.) I can sit there and play Tetris all day, and the music selection definitely helps keep myself entertained when playing Fightttris. Overall here are the pros/cons for this game... Pros: * The Gameplay is Entertaining * Music Selection is Good Cons: * The Controls are a bit Clunky and take getting used to * The Multiplayer section of the game is Dead Please note that this game is in early access at the moment, and once it becomes a bit more fine tuned, I would love to play this game and stream it! ~ ChrisLeOtaku Twitch: https://twitch.tv/chrisleotaku
It's $2, it's VR, it's tetris. No further explanation needed. I just wish there were people playing multiplayer. I have not gotten to try that part of the game yet.
I know exactly what you're thinking...we need more T's in our VR Tetris games. Well let me be the first to tell you they go all out, as there are THREE in this one. ...wait, that's not what you wanted to know?!? Well I've got a full and proper review here https://youtu.be/NYZgTiA8dRY And although it doesn't hit hit all the marks (our games may come to us for free - but our review are always totally unbiased), it does a good job of being a competent VR Tetris clone. But why are you still reading when you are missing out on that sweet video review above?? ;)
I found this game from reddit, where the developer posted a large sum of codes for this game for free and asked people to try it. I personally believe it is a crime that the post the developer made only had 7 upvotes, and this game is only 2 dollars. The developer was kind enough to even say that if there were not enough codes, they'd give out more. As someone who loves tetris, this is a great spin on the game and is hectic and stressful fun. As someone who has played tetris effect, and normal tetris all his life i can say with certainty that Fightttris VR is a unique and extremely fun spin on the classic geometry based puzzle game. I couldn't recommend it enough, and i plan on buying it for all of my friends who have vr
It''s a fun little game. I don't know how it compares to Tetris Effect on the PS4 as I haven't played that one. The controls could use a little bit of tweaking but I found it pretty fun. Video of me showcasing the game can be seen here: https://youtu.be/dr8jI9oY6GQ
This game was clunky and a little boring. Rotating blocks hurt my hand and there wasn't much content outside of basic tetris. Got me sick easily as well which sucks. Even though it's cheap, I wouldn't play it again.
If moving the little blocks around in Talos Principle VR made you want VR tetris then this is the game for you. Desperately in need of an options menu and dont expect to find anyone in multiplayer but the VR adds some fun new aspects to classic tetris, worth the money.
Don't know why this is the only tetris-like, multiplayer VR experience right now. It's not very good. It works.
This is a pretty good Tetris in Virtual Reality.
