Fields of Mistria

I've put a lot of time into this game and I can (with bias) say that I love it! The customization options for your farmer and for your farm and home are great, and the QOL updates have been amazing. The villagers have different things to say throughout the day and it really helps to make the day to day of the game feel more lived in. The game looks great and feels good to play, and I think it straddles the line well between having enough to do to keep things interesting without becoming a slog to complete. I'm excited to play the 1.0 release!

The "Friday Night at the Inn" weekly event needs to be included in every game like this from here on out. Learning about villagers has never felt more natural with the insane amount of unique dialogue that they have, not with us, but with each other. That alone deserves a recommend. The skills are all barely different enough from other games to feel fresh. The music is good, but not great. It could've used a fourth row of inventory. I have a handful of other minor complaints, but I'm not going to remember them a week from today. What I will remember is the love triangle you aren't a part of, the beef between two villagers with different wine taste, the hilarious three children, and the shot of Definitely Not Malort you take with villagers reminiscing of the Capitol that you never go to. The group conversations got me to care about characters that I had no reason to ever interact with. I'll be reading the patch notes of every update from here on out to see if new Friday Nights at the Inn are added. Great stuff.

Es un buen juego, pero tiene muchas cosas que podría mejorar. Es imposible no compararlo con el juego que lo inspiró. Tiene muchas cosas buenas que copia y otras que son bastante malas. La madera es muy escasa hasta que avanzas en la mina y puedes usar la máquina, que la puedes cambiar por piedra, que por temas de la mina sobra. El otro punto es que es muy fácil romper el juego con el dinero. Tengo dinero de sobra, con lo que, gracias a las tiendas, puedo cumplir las misiones que me piden solo con dinero. Las relaciones están bien, pero son algo flojas. Las citas son una imagen, una foto, un beso y nada más. Me hubiera gustado que los personajes me hubieran contado algo personal de ellos mismos en las citas, que tuvieran algún sentido. Es divertido, pero es un clon más; cuanto más lo juego, más ganas me dan de volver a Stardew Valley. A pesar de la 1.0, faltan eventos, tiene muy pocos y la dificultad es mínima. Eso se puede entender en la accesibilidad, ya que no he muerto en las minas ni una vez; solo una vez en la última capa de la mina me vi falto de vida. Y como apartado personal, la pesca es muy aburrida. Sé que ese tema separa mucho a la gente en cualquier juego que tenga minijuego de pesca , pero me gustaba el reto de pescar peces legendarios. Le falta libertad al juego no dudo que pueda mejorar en futuras actualizaciones lo espero con ansias

Super cute and cozy, with a great story!

Fields of Mistria is my first farming/dating sim, and I’m honestly really surprised by how much I enjoy it. I really like how slow-paced the game is. There’s no constant pressure to rush through everything, so you can just take your time, work on your farm, explore the world, or build relationships with the NPCs. It makes the whole game feel really relaxing and cozy. I really enjoy the gameplay and story. The NPCs are probably one of my favorite parts of the game. They’re diverse, interesting, and have their own personalities, which makes getting to know them actually enjoyable. The art style is also beautiful and fits the game perfectly. Combined with the cozy music, it creates a really relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to lose track of time while playing. I also haven’t had any performance issues so far. Everything has been running smoothly for me. And honestly, for the price, you get way more than I expected. There’s a lot to do, and it feels like you’re getting a lot of content for your money. Overall, I’m really happy with Fields of Mistria Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing and cozy game!
