Fields of Mistria

Picked this up during the 0.16.3 update, with 1.0 just around the corner, and it's already become one of those games that's way too easy to lose hours in. Cozy without feeling shallow, charming without trying too hard, and packed with enough progression to keep my brain happy. If 1.0 builds on this, it's going to be something special.

One of the best cozy games, period. If you enjoy Stardew, trust me, it's worth picking this up.

Pastel Stardew Valley, love it!

boyfriend bought this game and told me i should give it a try. i hop on the game after he leaves for work. i blink and its 30 minutes until he comes home. i have played this game for about 10 hours straight in one sitting. i am addicted to the character design. my only complaint is that i cannot romance the old people

this game is really cute and fun. it reminds me harvest moon friends of mineral town but with magic

It's like Stardew Valley, but different and improved. 40+ hours into the game and I know that I'm nowhere near the "end game" content. :) Makes the $14 price tag well worth it. Why is it better than Stardew? - You don't have to wait for vendors to be home to purchase from their shops. - Fishing is waaay more accessible (think like Animal Crossing) - Mines progression feels more impactful to the story - Minimap shows where NPCs are currently at. - NPC info gives details about liked/loved gifts. Stardew built the cozy farming sim genre, Fields of Mistria perfected it.
