Fiction Paradox - Chapter 1

NO. DON'T DO IT! DLW rated 3.75 of 10 It's a SciFi-esque adventure that doesn't even begin until the end of this entire Game! You're just buying a short precursor to a story they only half figured out yet. In fact, after 12 minutes of choices, they still only provide 1 of 2 intended genders. WTF? Story matters so little, I briskly finished this in 49 minutes to get to the End, which is nearly the one thing that might make all the time worth it... but it's just the END before the beginning? WTF? The art was okay for 2026... You can name yourself, reverse screen on demand, exit and save easy... but who wants to pay anything for the mere beginning of a premise. Standards are backstepping these days. If I took my time the whole thing might have lasted 1.5 hrs! WTF? DON'T DO IT. -DLW

Seriously, what garbage is this? I'm only not asking for a refund because I'm too lazy. Literally, there's nothing in the game, not even cutscenes or anything like that. I tried all the options and the story is terrible. Not even scenes with the good-looking characters could save it xd, and they'll probably release a paid second chapter. The first one didn't excite me about the game at all, and I don't see anything promising in it. It doesn't encourage me to buy the next chapter either.

Fiction Paradox pleasantly surprised me. It's an adult visual novel with a strong focus on storytelling, and from the very beginning you can tell how much care has been put into many aspects of the game. For me, one of its strongest points is the sound design. Both the music and sound effects are very well crafted and fit the scenes perfectly, greatly enhancing immersion. It doesn't feel like an afterthought at all, there's clearly a lot of detail and intention behind the audio work. Visually, the renders are high quality, with sharp definition, well-balanced lighting, and a style that fits the tone of the story very well. Everything looks great on screen. The NSFW scene deserves a special mention: it's very well animated, for both the female and male characters, and the animation quality genuinely exceeded my expectations. If this level is maintained in future updates, there's a lot to look forward to. Another very positive aspect is protagonist customization. Being able to play as either a male or female character and choose your sexual preference allows the game to adapt to the player's tastes, while also adding replay value, something that's always appreciated in this genre. Overall, this is a strong first chapter, with a solid narrative foundation, a polished technical presentation, and plenty of potential for the future. Highly recommended.

Really promising game! Even though it’s only about two hours long the first chapter, I had a great time with it and I’m already looking forward to the next chapters~ I’m usually not super into 3D-style VNs, but I actually really liked the designs in this one. The girls are interesting, and I can’t wait to see the male versions in the future :B

i've never wrote a review despite the quality of the game. but this one i feel like too much, in a bad way. the graphics is good and the concept of the game can be seen promising. but regardless, the essence of a game should be its content, its story. this game literally just giving you around 30mins to 1 hour to play, then comes the end of its chapter 1. and during that short time of playing, nothing much you can do in there. yes most games comes with chapters, but the dev should add more contents and story first before releasing it to public, and making even making it paid game. what has been released should just be a free demo in my opinion.

This Game is totally just false. Literally have not even 30 minutes of gameplay then go " Hey Guys chapter 1 is All done for now" absolutely no content

This one has me intrigued. Story is off to an interesting start and the art is good. Nice to see some original character models for a change and i get the feeling this will be a very different story to a lot of AVNs. Choice of gender is cool too, though I have only tried male so far. Obvious that a lot of work and passion has been put into it. Interested to see where the this one goes.

This one is an odd one to say the least. From the start you will have the choice to play as either a male or female as well as how you'd like to play. If you decide the MC is female there is a small downer at this time and that is you can only be a lesbian vs straight if that's not in your cards. Then you'll need to choose the male MC for your story and go from there. You'll be starting out working at a dead end job and trying to figure out what you'll be doing with your life but at the same time the character has there head in the clouds and while you try to make senses of things. There's music to listen to, sexual sounds and one scene at this time in Chapter 1 with a nude sexual animation scene. I did play as the female MC and it took me 90 mins to play through but it does feel like there could of been more to the first chapter vs ending where it did. Some might call this a cheesy sci fi novel but it's still worth checking out in my opinion.

Well, be warned that chapter one is SHORT, you can finish it in about one hour, which was really disappointing. On the other hand, the main character is interesting and the story takes shape nicely, the art is very good, you can see the care that has been put into it. The intro (chosing your character, and games preferences) is original, but WAY too long. But again I felt a little cheated that it stopped just when I was becoming invested in the protagonist. I certainly hope chapter two will be longer.
