I am giving this a thumbs up because the Devs will absolutely fix these issues I found in this game. I am going to give the issues of the game first, followed by the good in the hopes the readers will choose this game and allow the Devs the time to correct the mistakes. Some spoilers may be in this review, so please, read with caution.
First, when playing through, the save point is great, except only some of the game saves. It saves items and some of the progress, but not all. For example, if you find all the letters of the name, and save, then die or eject out of the game and load back in, the game forgets you got the letters, but the letters do not reappear to be "found" again. I did not know this until progressing all the way to the end only to find out "I don't know the name" when in fact I did. I attempted to retrace my steps and could not find a single letter, because I already found them.
Second, when attempting to open the second bathroom, you sometimes have to go back to the original trigger point several times before it will unlock. There is no key for this bathroom, just a trigger point. This will make the game even harder to progress if players do not understand the trigger point didn't trip.
Third, the code to the keypad. It should be hard, but not invisible. I checked several times, even after locating the code, and where the code is written down, is practically invisible. Not the end of the world, except there is a poem that talks about using wisdom and such to decipher the code, when really, that poem is just a red herring.
Fourth, what is the keypad even for? Is this a secret I haven't discovered yet? I got the code, entered the code, but I didn't see why the code was needed. Maybe this one is on me, maybe not.

When I finished the game, I was actually streaming in front of my audience. All of us were completely terrified at the beginning and middle of the game, but by the end of the game we were all so frustrated with the glitches that it took the magic away from the game. I'm confident the Devs will fix these issues and make this game even more terrifyingly magical as soon as possible.
Now for the pros, and the real reason you should consider purchasing.
First, the graphics are amazing, especially for the price of the game.
Second, the story is well thought out, clean, and didn't get lost in the game. Plot twist at the end was amazing.
Third, there is natural progression, I just feel the glitches got in the way of that. Speaking of progression, I do like how you can complete the rooms in any order, grab items in any order, and progress forward in any order (except the basement of course) and the game doesn't get the story jumbled up.
Fourth, the price is incredible. While I don't judge a game just on price alone, for what I paid, you really can't beat it.
Fifth, the gameplay, story, graphics, and what I'm sure the Devs will be willing to correct these issues, is why I am hopeful for a second chapter or even update this game to have multiple endings to this story. (maybe there are multiple endings already and I missed them)
All in all I would rate this game a solid 8/10 if it did have less glitches. Thank you for your efforts to bring a quality game to our world. I look forward to the corrections and hopefully additions to this story.
