About
Fears to Fathom [Together] is an episodic psychological co-op horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived.
In this episode of Fears to Fathom, you play as Tessa Langley or Marcus Reed — a young couple from Oregon preparing to move to another state. Due to unforeseen circumstances, their journey took an unexpected turn, leading them to the town of Scratch Creek. Little did they know what was transpiring in the decrepit small town. The couple survived as they collectively made the right choices.

Absolute joke of a "horror" game. The atmosphere and visuals are well designed but anything other than that is just crap-tier. The developers' idea of horror appears to be having someone jump out at you with an extremely loud and obnoxious sound effect which is then followed up by some regular boring conversation where the character always says something lame along the lines of "whoopsie daisey didn't mean to scare u like that teehee". The characters are idiotic and the climax consists of yourself and whoever you're playing with dying about three dozen times trying to figure out what the developers want you to do without any kind of hint or set up at all earlier in the game. I shouldn't be surprised, this is a FTF game after all. These games are more or less designed for big horror channels to have something fun to stream or do walkthroughs of to gain views. They're less actual games and more on-the-rails B-movie type adventure "games" meant only to be played once - if even that.

This is definitely one of the worst games I've ever played. The game is full of bugs, and in my opinion it's not designed for two players at all. Most of the time, one person is just standing around waiting while the other does something, and then you switch. I honestly don't see the point of that. It's not even a horror game—it's basically a walking simulator. The only scary thing about it is the amount of bugs, which are incredibly frustrating. The game gives you almost no objectives or direction. During the chase sequences, it doesn't provide any clue about where you're supposed to go, so you end up dying over and over again through trial and error. It honestly feels like the developer intentionally padded the game's length just to make it harder for people to refund it. For this price, the game is complete garbage, especially considering that both players have to buy it because there's no Friend's Pass. Save your money.
Fears to Fathom: Scratch Creek made me check behind me every five minutes... and somehow a raccoon became my biggest enemy. 10/10 anxiety simulator. 😅

Awesome short story. This game is one of the great co-op horror games I've played so far and it was actually pretty scary. Had a fun time playing this game. The only thing I'd say is bad about it is the fact that sometimes the game isn't being clear as to what you're supposed to do or where to go. Other than that, I totally recommend this game for sure. Overall Rating: 8.8/10
Overall good game; I was gifted this by a friend but would have totally spent the $8. We had a great time playing and laughed a lot! I'll highlight my pros and cons (TL:DR at the end) below: Cons: -I do understand what the negative reviews are talking about. We managed to get the car stuck a few times and had to restart the chapter, but other than that the game ran fine. -The instructions in-game aren't clear (on what to do and where to go) especially for the last chase sequence and gas station chapter. -I wish you could skip the dialogue for Julia's house; it became tiring quick when we replayed the chapter (not due to game glitches, we just played the game in 2 sittings). There might have been an option, but I didn't notice one until the last chapter. Pros: SPOILER ALERT v -I like how the story tied into Ironbark Lookout, although it's kinda hard to notice unless you've recently played that chapter. -I thought the ending was cute if a bit abrupt. -The proximity voice chat was fun; me and my friend used it the whole game and I think it added to the atmosphere! -Yes the jump scares are cheap, but I liked them. Overall, it doesn't seem much different from the other fears to fathom games. If you don't take it too seriously, you'll have a great time! I would say, this game wouldn't be nearly as fun with randoms. TL;DR: If you're looking for a silly but kinda spooky story game to play with a friend, this is great! The negative reviews do have good points, but I found those issues weren't much of a problem for me. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :)
