Sinceramente no tengo mucha experiencia jugando titulos de terror analogico y mucho menos cooperativos, pero de lo que jugue hasta ahora, puedo afirmar que este capitulo de FTF fue unas de las mejores experiencias que tuve en los juegos de dicho genero. Para emepezar pense que se trataba de una entrega ordinaria de la saga... lo cual lo es, sigue con el concepto y la estetica que lo caracteriza, pero con la peculiaridad de que la premisa de este episodio es el jugo cooperativo. El desarrollo de la trama requiere de la cooperacion, concentracion, y en ciertos momentos el mutuo accionar de los jugadores. Sin embargo tambien se presentan momentos de "jugabilidad individual", donde los personajes (por motivos de la trama) son obligados a separarse y desarrollar por su cuenta la historia, todo para despues volver a culminar con el otro jugador e intercambiar lo que han visto por su cuenta. El desarrollo de la trama, el suspenso y el terror psicologico es excelente, a pesar de haberlo jugado con un amigo entre risas y no tomandolo del todo serio, el ambiente bien construido nos obligaba a empatizar con los personajes y temer por lo que nos podia llegar a suceder. Abordando el mismo tema del desarrollo, siempre fui muy critico de como FTF desconcentra al jugador (en este caso jugadores) con tareas engorrosas sin sentido y confusas. Esto es en parte, la metodologia para hacer asustar al jugador con un repentino jumperscare, y siempre termina funcionando, pero siento que en mi opinion los capitulos se cargan mucho de este proceso de tareas inecesarias que hasta cierto punto parecen relleno. (spoiler alert) En este capitulo hay una parte en donde el gps indica que hay que ir hacia un pueblo que se encuentra a la derecha, para despues encontrarte un cartel que indica que dicho pueblo se encuentra a la izquierda... ok, evidencia las intenciones de querer hacer confundir, ahora, fue relevante para la trama? Fue algo sumamente indiferente al desarrollo de la historia y me parece una forma muy descarada de hacer relleno. Quitando este unico punto negativo (y que los screamers son ridiculamente fuertes), lo recomiento completamente, una experiencia muy dificil de equiparar en otros juegos cooperativos. En definitiva el juego: ...................„-~~'''''''~~--„„_ ..............„-~''-,::::::::::::::::::: ''-„ ..........,~''::::::::',:::::::::::::::: ::::|', .....::::::,~'''¯¯¯''''~~--~'''¯''',:| .........'|:::::|: : : : : : : : : : : ::: : |,' ........|:::::|: : :-~~---: : : ---: | .......(¯''~-': : : :'¯°: ',: :|: :°-: :| .....'....''~-,|: : : : : : ~---': : : :,' ...............|,: : : : : :-~~--: : ::/ NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP ......,''\':\: :'~„„_: : : : : _,' NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN __„-';;;;;\:''-,: : : :'~---~''/| ;;;;;/;;;;;;;\: :\: : :____/: :',__ ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;',. .''-,:|:::::::|. . |;;;;''-„__ ;;;;;;,;;;;;;;;;\. . .''|::::::::|. .,';;;;;;;;;;''-„ ;;;;;;;|;;;;;;;;;;;\. . .\:::::,'. ./|;;;;;;;;;;;;;| ;;;;;;;\;;;;;;;;;;;',: : :|¯¯|. . .|;;;;;;;;;,';;| ;;;;;;;;;',;;;;;;;;;;;\. . |:::|. . .'',;;;;;;;;|;;/ ;;;;;;;;;;\;;;;;;;;;;;\. .|:::|. . . |;;;;;;;;|/ ;;;;;;;;;;;;,;;;;;;;;;;|. .\:/. . . .|;;;;;;;;
omg PLEASE make more co-op episodes I BEGGGGG this is so good I had so much fun. The details in the environment were top notch too
The game shines when the two players are seperated and can only communicate what is happening to themselves via text message, it also has a few good jumpscares sprinkled in throughout the ~2hr playtime.
Thanks to the developer for this wonderful game. I've been through it several times with different people. Each time, the experience was interesting and revealed something new. For example, a guy at a gas station or the fact that it turns out you can read a couple of books. The developer really liked the shift in focus to co-op play. And despite the fact that there weren't any chips directly related to it, it still looked very cool and allowed you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere better. When you don't know what's going on with your partner and you ask, and he describes everything he sees. And when he's in the moment, then he disappears under the radar. It's just mind-blowing. Of course, yes, people write that more chips should have been made, more new pieces should have been made, more shooting guns should have been made, that some moments should have been done differently. But it's just so strange, as if the developer works for people, does what they tell him to do. As much as we love what you're doing, we want you to do something else in your fanfiction, something specific that we need. No, never, never. Your game has charm, your game has soul. It may not be perfect in many ways, but you're very good at building up the atmosphere, it's just wonderful. Of course, the screamers are very harsh, but the atmosphere seems to be preparing for them, forcing them. I think that there is nothing to realize the intensity of the atmosphere as a supply to the screamer. I especially liked that this is a cooperative. I really like cooperative games. And I really liked a certain freedom of action, like, I can write something to my teammate, and he will answer me something. And different people react differently to different situations. Social interaction with a partner is not too important for passing, but it is important for the atmosphere and it is important for me. You can say that you're partly making the character you're playing for yourself, although these are real people who have sent you their stories, but they provide little information about their character or the details of their relationship. And it opens up a small window within which you can spin around a bit. And playing together leads to interesting situations. And that also changes depending on who you're playing with. Someone likes to take risks and explore, someone likes, on the contrary, not to take risks and follow all the rules. I really liked this, well, the social component. I really want more. I understand that you, the developer, are tired, and all these negative reviews, I will understand if you don't make more cooperative episodes. But I just want you to know how much I love the first episode, man. I'm definitely looking forward to the next co-op episodes. Do as your creative soul tells you. All the best to you!
