About

Fear of Reptiles is a Dinosaur Horror game that brings dinosaurs into our world. Experience being hunted by dinosaurs that will hunt you down by using multiple senses like sight, hearing, and smell. No where is safe as the longer you stick around, the more likely it will find you, so complete your mission quickly, and GET OUT.
Dense fog covers the night, reducing your vision and allowing these creatures to see you, before you see them.
When prehistoric predators return to our world, your mission is to survive. In this stealth horror experience, you’ll navigate a world overrun by ruthless dinosaurs, desperate to find shelter in emergency bunkers. In order to survive, you must:
Stay Quiet and don't make a sound as creatures lurking in the night can hear you and will hunt you down.
Outsmart your obstacles by causing distractions to form new paths Use objects you can find like rocks to throw to lure creatures of the night.
Hide when they get too close, tuck under small spaces and hope they don't find you.
Manage your power supply to navigate your way through different environments, each with their own challenges!
Deadly Dinosaurs that will chase you down, with no mercy
Stalker AI that hunts you down using multiple senses.
First Person Stealth limiting your vision, so you have to use your other senses to escape
Power Puzzle Management used to navigate through unique environments

This game is pretty flawed. It's made by a small team so I'm hesitant to rag on it too much but there are some serious problems. We spent about an HOUR looking around the last are of the game trying to find a passcode, a fuse, or any kind of clue/hint to progress and there was just nothing. We spent so long the dinosaur ended up leaving too lol The chase/hide sections are really odd as well with the dinosaurs being super aggresive and can see you from very far away but if you just keep walking away they lose aggro anyway. Very peculiar There are some other really weird things about this game with the main character but we didn't get far enough for me to really start complaining about it. Please dev for the love of god, add a Subtitle option as well. Everything in this game is super loud except the voices, it sounds like they're whispering. Here's our playthrough if you want to check it and see some of what I'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0mAv4gBVpw
This game would be ok if it didn't run like ass by stealing my gpu & cpu power like a bitcoin miner. dev plz optimize your game and future games. Other than that another issue I had was the constant fuse finding which got old very fast and would be fine if it was just a few. A major issue with this game is the lack of invisible walls which allowed me to glitch past areas and in the process I accidentally walked into the end trigger of the game and the credits rolled LMAO. Fear Of Reptiles: Chapter 1 has nice details beyond this though but needs work to optimize the game and edit a few things to make it playable. I just hope chapter 2 will be better lol https://youtu.be/9GL-OdBw49U

I was skeptical at first to play this but it's surprisingly decent If you're not a dumb dumb like me. this shouldn't take you very long to complete, however, I do have some gripes The thing that took me the longest was looking for the required items you needed to progress. I didn't understand that until I was wandering around aimlessly. Maybe add some sort of objectives to help players find such items as there's nothing really to go off of besides random notes you find around the world. The audio sliders reset whenever you die. And the raptor AI seems a little glitchy still as I didn't hear the audio cue for it coming out on the pipe and it sped through a wall and killed me. Stamina also bugged out when I was trying to finish this chapter and wouldn't let me run Besides the issues, cool game. I'm thrilled to see more devs making dinosaur horror games as we do NOT have enough. Can't wait to see chapter 2. Keep up the good work
Amazing game! The mechanics are fun and creative, the ambience and level design is also very good. My most favorite aspect about this game is its difficulty, it's not too easy and instead of speedrunning you really need to hide from raptors and avoid them :D
Не интересно, не советую
game is good for a first full indie game made by a dev. person who makes it is cool, and he makes cool content! it is better than 99% of indie first full horror games that come out. please try it there is no sense in not after all its free! would reccoment pc does explode at the beginning though bcs its loading in things
Another dinosaur horror game that has recently hit the market is Fear of Reptiles, which is even free to play, although currently only the first chapter is available. Further chapters will likely be released later, and these will probably cost money, similar to shareware versions in the DOS era—DOOM veterans will know what I mean. The plot is simple: you play as someone searching for their girlfriend after a nearby catastrophe. How the dinosaurs came back into the story isn't explained yet. The game controls quite well, but I would have liked programmable control keys, as I use SHIFT to crouch and CTRL to sprint. A stop button for crawling would also be useful. Nevertheless, the game was quite entertaining; the dinosaurs act rather cleverly, although the Utahraptor in particular often got stuck, blocking the escape route. In terms of design, they've used feathered dinosaurs again, but these look a bit silly. Feathered dinosaurs are creepy, but not when they look like cartoons. The save points are also a bit odd. You enter an area, and if you get caught, you have to start over. Inserted fuses in fuse boxes or collected documents are retained, but the connectors for the cables you need to connect aren't linked, similar to Half-Life 2, and you have to rewire them. As already mentioned, this is only a partial chapter of the game, so the story isn't fully told yet. Let's hope that more chapters will follow.
Great game! Def recommend others playing if they love dinos and horror mashed together! The maker put in a lot of time and effort and it really shows how much thought was put into the game! 10/10 stars!
