FARM RACING., developed and published by Aloha PICTURES, is a small-scale equestrian racing game that blends simple sports mechanics with a relaxed countryside atmosphere. The game centers around horse riding competitions held in rural farm environments, presenting players with the opportunity to train, compete, and gradually improve their riding abilities. Rather than attempting to replicate the complexity of large horse-riding simulators, the game focuses on accessibility and straightforward gameplay that allows players to quickly enter races and progress through a series of increasingly challenging courses. The basic premise revolves around the player taking on the role of a rider who aims to become a skilled competitor in farm-based horse races. At the beginning of the experience, players are given the opportunity to choose a horse that will accompany them throughout the journey. Each horse breed has slightly different characteristics that influence its speed and responsiveness, encouraging players to adapt their riding style depending on the animal they select. The game presents the relationship between rider and horse as an important part of the experience, suggesting that learning to work together effectively can lead to better results during races. Gameplay is built around participating in equestrian competitions across a series of rural tracks. Players guide their horse through open fields, farm paths, and simple racing circuits while attempting to achieve the best possible performance. The mechanics are easy to understand: players control the horse’s movement and speed while navigating the course and trying to maintain a smooth riding rhythm. While the controls are not particularly complex, mastering them requires some practice, especially when learning how to manage speed and maneuver through turns without losing momentum. The progression structure of FARM RACING. revolves around a sequence of levels that gradually introduce more demanding racing challenges. Early races function as training opportunities where players can become familiar with the controls and pacing of the horse. As the game progresses, the courses become slightly more challenging, requiring better timing and more precise handling to maintain competitive performance. The increasing difficulty creates a steady sense of improvement as players develop their riding technique. Customization also plays a role in shaping the experience. Players can select from several different character appearances, including both male and female rider models, allowing them to personalize their in-game identity. The horses themselves also come in a variety of breeds and visual styles. While these customization options are relatively limited compared to more elaborate simulation games, they add a sense of variety and give players the opportunity to experiment with different rider and horse combinations. One of the themes emphasized by the game is the connection between rider and horse. Instead of presenting races purely as speed competitions, the game encourages players to pay attention to how the horse responds to their commands. Smooth riding and consistent control often produce better results than simply pushing the horse to maximum speed. This concept gives the gameplay a slightly more thoughtful feel, where players must learn the rhythm of riding rather than relying solely on reflexes. The game contains roughly twenty levels that players must complete in order to progress through the full experience. Each level represents a new race that challenges the player’s riding ability in slightly different ways. Although the environments remain relatively similar, the gradual increase in difficulty provides a sense of forward momentum as players work toward becoming a more capable rider. Visually, FARM RACING. adopts a simple presentation focused on countryside scenery. The race tracks are set within open rural landscapes that feature grassy fields, barns, fences, and farm structures. The environments are not highly detailed, but they capture the calm atmosphere of a farm setting. The visual style emphasizes clarity and accessibility rather than graphical complexity, which suits the game’s casual tone. The audio design complements the relaxed environment with light background music and subtle environmental sounds. The rhythmic sound of hooves striking the ground reinforces the sensation of riding across open terrain, while the music helps maintain a calm and steady pace during races. The soundtrack is relatively understated, but it contributes to the peaceful atmosphere that the game tries to create. Despite its pleasant concept, the game’s limited scope becomes apparent after extended play. The racing mechanics remain fairly simple throughout the entire experience, and the number of levels is relatively small. Players who are looking for deep simulation systems or extensive customization options may find the gameplay somewhat shallow compared to more advanced equestrian titles. Because the mechanics do not evolve dramatically, repetition can become noticeable during longer sessions. However, the simplicity of FARM RACING. can also be seen as one of its strengths. The game is easy to pick up and does not require a significant time investment to enjoy. Its straightforward structure makes it suitable for short play sessions where players can quickly enter a race, attempt to improve their performance, and continue progressing through the available tracks. Ultimately, FARM RACING. is a modest indie sports title that explores a niche theme rarely represented in video games. While it may lack the depth and polish of larger racing simulators, it still offers a calm and approachable horseback racing experience set in a peaceful rural environment. Players who enjoy simple sports games or are interested in light equestrian gameplay may find it to be a relaxing diversion, even if its limited mechanics prevent it from reaching the same level of depth as more ambitious titles. Rating: 6/10
bestr game i ever played
Best gaming experience of the year- perhaps even a lifetime. However, this masterpiece faces one major flaw: the lack of a trot function. Have a blessed day
thank you G2A for introducing me to this game. before this, I was playing triple A SLOP but now I've realized that I'm glad they scammed me out of that 5 triple A games key bundle, because now I realize what TRUE gaming is. FARM RACING. xoxo jesus christ
