About
What if a powerful wizard wanted to build a zoo for all kinds of different fantasy animals? Build your own zoo for many unique creatures. Instead of normal animals like elephants or lions, fill the zoo with monsters like dragons and griffins.
30 Different animals from mythology and pop culture fantasy. Build a good enclosure for each animal according to their requirements. Animals can have different quirks which can make it hard to keep them safely, such as dragon’s fiery breath or basilisk’s petrifying gaze.

Use thematic tools to manage and build the zoo. Move things by teleporting and stop dangerous animals from rampaging with an ice spell. Magical crystals can be used to prevent animals from escaping and have other utility effects.
Play as you like using a simple progression system with a research tree and challenges to give you ideas on what to build next, or just play in a sandbox with everything unlocked from start.
Keep your guests happy for gold income, choose from different workers ,and think about costs before getting new animals. Alternatively, just start with a large sum of gold and build freely.
Old school style grid system where you can freely build your zoo.
Simple combat mechanic makes the escaping animals dangerous. Stop escaping animals with spells and the zoo staff, or let them rampage and enjoy the mayhem.
Ellietendo's Review Of Fantasy Zoo
I received a free copy of this game for review purposes. I used a mouse & keyboard combo for gameplay.
Pros:

Zoo Sim – Playing a game where you create your own Zoo is already a fun concept, when you add that with a “Fantasy” theme, it makes this game way more interesting!
Customizable Gameplay - There are so many ways to play this game, having the option to choose either traditional or sandbox is great. There’s no pressure to play a certain way, I like the freedom.
Joyful Music – Whilst the Zoo can sometimes be slow paced, one thing that keeps me going is surprisingly the in-game music! It’s so catchy; I’ll have to find it somehow online to have on loop!
Solo Developer – It’s always nice to support a solo/indie developer when it comes to games. I’m really impressed with the quality of everything, especially more so considering that it was an individual; this genuinely looks like a team made this game.

Cons:

Weak Quests – I’ll admit, the Quests were the least fun part of “Fantasy Zoo”, I’m mindful that this is a gameplay preference and not “The Quests Are Bad”. Some people will love the Quests; it just wasn’t personally for me.

Overall:
A solid Zoo Sim with a cute fantasy twist (Clue is in the game name). “Fantasy Zoo” brings charm and charisma to a tired out “Simulation” genre. I would recommend this game to people who love Sim and/or Zoo games for sure. Whilst it is a bit more on the pricier size (£5-£8 Range),it’s worth it to show support for upcoming game devs. If you’re still not 100% convinced, they do have a free demo worth trying out! Well done “Major Parus Games” for creating a delightful game!
This is a cute enough and simple enough game to recommend. I feel it's worth the full price to just throw towards the devs for scratching an itch that's easier than Planet Zoo with a magic twist. I have more to unlock but I've enjoyed myself and will play again. The UI can be seen as clunky maybe but it doesn't really discourage me at all. If you're on the fence, try the demo.
Habe das Spiel Kostenlos erhalten muss sagen es ist mal was anderes .Lustig fand ich auch das ich meine Besucher Fressen lassen konnte das ist genau mein Humor
This is a truly lovely game that has been scratching the classic zoo tycoon itch for me like no other game has. I'm always on the look out for that nostalgic zoo game and this one just does it for me. You can mess with the guests, animals fight each other, sandbox mode and just the right amount of customization options for your decorations. I don't need to be able to turn every item 360 degrees on all four axis, give me the four cardinal directions and I'm happy. I'm playing version 1.0 and I'm already quite happy with the game. Since it is an early addition there are a couple things that don't seem fully flushed out. For example, it is not always clear what your monsters are lacking in their environment that would make them happy. You can figure it out through trial and error, which I have ultimately been enjoying so I don't find it a particularly large drawback. All in all, great game. I have been enjoying playing it and I hope you do too.
Fantasy Zoo was a fun zoo sim game! I had to struggle a little bit to figure out some of the things out but once I figured it out it was fun! Definetly a fun game to give you that nostalgia for a zoo game but also with fantasy creatures!
Love the game i only wish it explained things a little more. but I still give it 5 stars great concept and lots of fun
As a kid, I spent countless hours building zoos in Zoo Tycoon. It was fun. Sometimes, unfortunate “accidents” happened to my visitors—but overall, it was fun. Fantasy Zoo feels like a spiritual successor to that childhood classic. Sure, it has zombies and dragons instead of lions and zebras, but... let’s just say some of my visitors still meet unfortunate ends. The game isn’t bad. Don’t expect anything groundbreaking that will redefine gaming, but for 8 euros, it’s worth it—especially if you have that nostalgic spark from the late ’90s still hiding somewhere inside you. this game is very addicting & fun! my first of this style & loved it very much! if you enjoy this type of game &/or fantasy creatures i def recommend you give it a try!
So, I will preface this with, I did enjoy this game for what it is, it's a zoo tycoon-type game with a premise I've been wanting to see for years upon years. It has a strong basis for that concept in a lot of places, but it does suffer from a lot, buggy zoo employee AI, a lot of enclosure design lacks depth and the terrain itself costs way too much to change, research also lacks a lot of more interesting elements. Basically, the game has a lot of interesting base ideas but as it stands it feels more like a prototype proof-of-concept rather than a complete game.
