About
Fantasy Shop is a medieval shop management game where you build a trading empire and defend it.
Order goods, set your own prices, decorate your shop, and serve the customers of a living city. Just don't be surprised when a thief walks out with your best sword.
Order stock from the market and wait for the caravan to arrive.
Set the price of every item yourself. Greed costs you customers, generosity costs you gold.
Stock your shelves, keep the floor clean, and watch the coins come in.
Start your journey from a humble shop to the most renowned trading hub in the city!
Knock down walls, expand into new rooms, and fill your displays with shelves and counters.
Unlock rare, epic and legendary goods as your skills grow. Each upgrade means more customers and more valuable stock.
Thieves blend in with the crowd. Caravans get raided on the road. And the King always wants his taxes.
Cast spells, set up automated guard turrets, or grab a shoplifter with telekinesis and throw them out the door.
Just be careful. The city notices how you treat people.
Take a loan from the bank to fund your expansion. Invest your profits and earn interest.
Buy property across the city for passive income and tax breaks.
But miss a payment, and word gets around. Your reputation falls, and so does your customer count.
A fully dynamic sky moves from sunny mornings to stormy nights.
Streets fill with townsfolk going about their day, lanterns light up at dusk, and every day ends with a night's sleep before you open your doors again.

The game is fun and not overstimulating. You don't need to learn complicated things; it's easy to learn and play, love that! It's a good game to play when you have some free time, with chill music. For this price, I think it's good. But bro, you need to fix that damn BJ or add a physical body so we can smack that mf :D
The game is really fun! I start with a selling poisons and then I expand my shop now I can sell whatever I want. By the way kick people with a magic is so fun! :D And also I like the get money from Priest when I broke :)) nice detail dude. Good Job!

I worked hard to get my money up to repay my debts. Went and played blackjack with it. Was up 2k gold. Lost it all. 10/10
I really did not expect to like Fantasy Shop as much as I do. I figured it would be a simple little game where you stock shelves, sell stuff, make money and slowly upgrade the store, but there is way more going on than that. You set your own prices, expand the shop, work your way up to better and rarer items, deal with taxes, loans, investments and property (I haven't purchased any yet but this seems to be a stated feature), and somehow blackjack is also in there waiting to ruin whatever responsible financial decisions you were making. The magic is probably my favorite part though. Someone tries to steal from you and instead of pressing a security button you can just use telekinesis and throw them out of the shop. Later you can even get magical defenses. There is something really funny about spending most of the day peacefully stocking potions and weapons and then suddenly having to become an angry wizard because somebody decided to steal a sword. It fits the game perfectly. The atmosphere is also great. The town looks really nice, the music is relaxing, the weather and time of day change, and the whole thing has that cozy old fantasy RPG feeling. It reminds me of walking into shops in older RPGs and thinking it would actually be fun to just stay there and be the merchant instead of going out to save the world. Turns out the merchant is also dealing with debt, taxes, thieves and a gambling problem, but close enough. It is Early Access and I definitely want more content, but that is mostly because I am having a good time and don't want to run out of things to do. The developer has also been updating it very quickly, which is nice to see. If you like shopkeeping games, management games or cozy fantasy stuff, this is very easy to recommend. I expected to run a little fantasy shop and somehow ended up becoming an investor with a gambling and drinking problem and magical loss prevention officer. 10/10 shopkeeper experience.
really good game for a starting point. would suggest to get more levelsm cause right now im stuck 25 in less than 3h. 3h of pure joy and blast but since i cant get more legendary equipement i dont see the point in continuing. will for sure keep playing if new things are added up!! right now i suggest you buy it, play for like 3 to 10h as you like then comeback when theres more stuff for example: -more levels -more potion/armor/weapons for lower tier and higher we go less choice we have - possibility to modify the entrance sign and outdoor look with money -maybe put some craftable decorations outside
Its... empty, and boring. Not bad, just so little and without goal
Great game! It is in early access but the dev are constantly releasing new patches. Definitely recommend grabbing this, I'm excited to see where the devs take this project!
I 100%-ed the game in roughly 6 hours, so this review is based on pretty much everything it currently has to offer. I want to start by saying I don't think this is a bad game at all. I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great, the music fits well, and the village/shop are both really pretty. Most of my complaints are just things I think could be improved or expanded during Early Access. - The tutorial text is way too small and I’d love an option to turn off head bobbing. - The music is nice, but by around Day 7 it started getting repetitive. - The village looks beautiful but feels a little empty. More NPC activity would help a lot. - Customers constantly get in the way while stocking shelves, especially early game. I also wish shelves didn’t allow different item types to be mixed together because visually it drives me insane lol. - Money is extremely easy to make right now. Rent or recurring bills, with the option to eventually buy the shop, could make progression more interesting. - I’d love more customization like rugs, walls, and flooring. Starting with a run-down shop that you slowly repair could also make progression feel more rewarding. - Some skill trees feel unbalanced. The automatic broom basically makes cleanliness upgrades pointless, while delivery raids are so rare and minor that the delivery tree doesn’t feel worth investing in. - It isn’t very clear what decorations actually do. I bought several and my shop multiplier still stayed at x1.0. - Glowing weapons/tomes sometimes stopped glowing on shelves, which may be a bug. - Legendary items were my biggest frustration. I could barely sell the Holy Broken Sword even after lowering the price from 50% all the way to 11%. It felt weird that unlocking better merchandise actually made selling things harder. Overall, I still recommend it. 6 hours to 100% everything is pretty light on content, but I don’t really hold that against an Early Access game. What’s here is fun and almost everything I’ve mentioned feels very fixable as development continues.
Game has been really fun, its a little bare bones right now since it just came out but has enough for a couple hours of fun and a lot of cool concepts. game has been updated a lot since coming out to so the creator really cares about the game and adding more content. highly recommend!
