Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game

After beating the game, it turned out to be a lot more fun than I'd imagined! Sure it's hard to play, but once you get a hang of the mechanics you truly start experiencing the world of Fallout 1. And it can feel very intriguing at times. A good game for it's time and an exellent rpg for someone wanting a challenge with real character added to it!

Atmosphere is fantastic and the story is quite good. That alone makes it somewhat worth a try, not for nothing that it spawned a franchise. On the other hand, the game feels a bit unfinished, some quests and many gameplay mechanics are only halfway done and not up to par. Sneak ? Traps ? Time management ? As a very old RPG, it also lacks a lot of Quality of Life features that we're used to eg mouse commands are not easy to get used to and slow plus inventory management and bartering etc is quite tedious. Without a guide you can easily feel lost if you are used to some amount of hand holding eg quest cursors and the like. Your call. I still enjoyed it but would certainly recommend the third installment over this one.

this game is like nearly 30 years old so there's probably plenty of people explaining what I'll try to say better. Fallout was a really fun and immersive experience imo, its one of the few old games i've enjoyed spending my time on as much as I would a modern one, my first introduction to the franchise was fallout 4 so i didn't know how much i'd like fallout but truthfully, i really liked this game. Its artstyle is unique and the environment was fun to interact with, i like the super mutants and the master as the main antagonists, overall i don't have many complaints about this game that can't be wrote up as "I'm used to modern games that hold your hand through everything"

Gra która polega nie tylko na walce, wręcz przeciwnie - jest mnóstwo sposobów na ominięcie walki. Gra mimo czasu jaki pszeszedła jest dopracowana i szczerze mówiąc musiałbym się mocno zastanowić by wymienić jej wady.
