Falcon City

I usually do not play point and click type games, because sometimes you can only find the solution if your brain clicks similarly with the author's. Fortunately, not here. The item-combinations were logical, no need to be a MacGyver. I like that you need to observe. I mean thorougly. Love the puns, and the decision based story ending. The voices were great, the script sometimes did not sound lifelike enough for me. The characters' personalities were well invented. I got annoyed by those who were supposed to be annoying. I really hope more stories will come in Falcon City, until then I will give this story a couple more tries (being an achievement hunter, I need to hehehe)

With its cartoony graphics and playstyle, Falcon City evokes memories of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango and other great titles. It is a refreshing break from overt and flashy CGI and demonstrates how amazing art can create genuine characters just fine. I've felt like I'm playing a more sleuthy noir game version of Zootopia. This gumshoe point-and-click game heralds the renaissance of the genre and it's money well spent!

This one is a bit of a mixed bag, but I would still recommend it to any fans of the point&click genre. The artstyle is awesome and I love the various surreal looking animal characters. It really gives the game a unique retro-eastern european feel, in a good way. The puzzles and the story are a bit too simplistic for my taste, and the game is a bit short - although apparently there are multiple endings and I did not get the best one on my first playthrough. There is plenty of dialogue and a few in-game cutscenes, which is nice, although I would have liked more puzzles to be honest. I was surprised to see that everything is voice acted, and some of it is excellent - and some of it isn’t. I think if you are into point&click adventures, you should give it a go.

The animation is excellent. The voice over is okay. But the story and especially the ending makes the purchase not worth it.

It is a charming game full of ideas and attention to detail. The noir atmosphere is tangible, with every characteristic of the genre, and just the right amount of self-irony. The game mechanics are pretty straightforward and easy, the conversations colourful, the storyline enjoyable. The only thing I find a bit annoying is that the solutions for the puzzles are sometimes hard to guess based on the clues, and require a lot of trial-by-error. But the world itself is fun to browse through several times, and the nice little details you can discover when visiting scenes again and again offers enough compensation.

Fun indie game with good characters and atmosphere. I liked the multiple endings and the puzzles were just hard enough for me. It has the charm and humour that makes you keep going and trying to get every ending. It also has some surprisingly creative twists. I will definitely revisit it from time to time:)
