Gameplay-wise, this game does nothing special. Graphically, it's not very nice looking, even by indie standards. Neither of those are really big issues, but sadly, they are actually the high points. The maps are terrible, and you can't even access some without using commands. There is literally no playerbase, I only encountered one person in the otherwise empty servers. In addition to that, the dev seems to be strangely hostile, so a community can't really form because people keep getting banned from the Discord. Just don't bother.
Fun class based shooter game with a ton of potential! Like the classes so far (Big fan of the engineer Abigail) and am hoping to see how this game continues to evolve in it's early access form. The classes aren't as strictly defined as TF2 but there's enough there to feel familiar and jump in. Had a great time playing with friends. Fadeout has been getting regular updates and new classes, which is nice. Devs are receptive to feedback as well, which is a plus.

Tried out one of the beta test event things and didn't have too great of a time, i can dismiss all the bugs but being dunked on by several chad veterans of the game with no remorse was kind of lame and didn't leave me with a great taste in my mouth. Within 5 minutes of joining I was accused of glitching and sniping from out of bounds invisible walls by one of the developers friends after getting a lucky kill on him (With my rushing shotgun build) then proceeded to spectate and screenshot him doing the EXACT thing he accused me of with a sniper from out of bounds behind a 1 way wall... Everything aside its a good game, I have friends who enjoy it but it's not very friendly towards new players at the moment.
Neat third person arena shooter worth trying out, artstyle is cute
A Diamond in the Rough
If you long for the days of old classic shooting and movement, Fadeout delivers with great potential for more. The game emphasizes movement and combat with technical skill you hardly find in modern shooters. Movement consists of basic roll-jumping and rocket jumping to more complex wall bounces and surfing with each character having their own mechanics. Weapons and health are collected on the ground emphasizing good map knowledge and rotation skills. It's a hero shooter with the heart of Quake. Unfortunately, this diamond does indeed have some rough spots. With few players you'll have to join in on discord to get in the action but the community is very welcoming and non-toxic. There are a limited amount of maps and there are plenty of bugs. What is fortunate is that this game has the most responsive and caring developer I have ever met playing any indie game. Updates are frequent and the game is slowly getting better and better all the time. Fadeout has all the essentials of a incredible game in the making. It may be a long road before its truly completed but what's here is a love letter to classic shooters. This one's a bright shining gem in the making.

Cool concept, execution leaves a lot to be desired. The art style / designs are very mid and further alienate themselves from the player with annoying voice lines which play repeatedly upon selection. I would assume if someone was trying to cater to furries they'd at least make the designs more aesthetically enticing. The mechanics (movement/gunplay) feel like they were designed by someone who has never played a real shooter: very wonky and some common weapon types are outright missing from the game. This is of course assuming that you are generous enough to call the game a shooter at all, since half the weapons in the game seem to be melee or explosives. Upon first playing, I did feel that there was some potential in the game. However, those positive feelings were quickly squashed by the head dev himself who immediately insulted and berated me for giving feedback. I have no idea why he was so angry, most devs are usually grateful to have seasoned FPS players benchmark their work.
Fun classic-style Third-Person online multiplayer shooter.
I really love this game, it's a hidden gem in this genre of game. I love how characters like Camille, Charlie and Friday play. However, there are a few issues I have: - The game is not well optimized. During gameplay I was hearing my fans on my GPU start to spin very fast, my card getting uncomfortably hot on my brand new PC build. Tested on my old PC which has been great too but still experienced the same issue. Tested on a 1650S and a 1660S and both get to the 60-70 degree temp while the CPU is perfectly fine. Maybe tinkering with more settings might fix this but hopefully the dev can also look into it as other people seem to have the same problem. - You have to either join the Discord or get a group of friends to download and play the game with you. Nobody is really active so you kind of have to poke around and seek out players. - The dev will be releasing 1.0 this December and will not be adding more content to the game/updating it, only bug fixes. Dedicated servers will be still up "until they cannot afford it anymore" so who knows how long it will last. It's unfortunate, but understandable. Even with the glaring issues this game is a ton of fun and with the right people you will have a blast. These characters control great, kills are satisfying, a great game to play especially with friends. It's unfortunate to see this game go down with an ill fate so quickly though, there's so much to be loved here :(
The game is fast paced, has unique characters and designs, useful weapons, and the maps are unique because of it's setting which is... underground I would 100% recommend this game to anyone looking for a third person arena shooter. The game is always getting updates, and is currently getting some character updates and bot support soon. Come on, free game, you know you want it.
