it's the automation game for a reason; extremely well thought out to the point of being probably the only game out there with zero unintended points of friction. it's a huge joy to rethink factory designs whenever you come up with a new idea to improve on something, and there's so much variety (especially with the expansion) that there are dozens of 'correct' ways to do most things, meaning you don't often feel constrained to a certain method or meta.
