About
Step into the shadowed halls of the Hellfire Club, where something, or someone, is always lying... Eyes of Hellfire is a richly atmospheric gothic horror cooperative game that plunges you and up to 4 of your friends into a cursed lodge. The game is based on real Irish legends of the secret society known as the Hellfire Club, resulting in a scenario filled with secrets, monsters, and a creeping sense of dread.
Each player harbours a hidden curse, twisting their abilities and motives, as they explore the ever-shifting rooms of the lodge. With a dynamic card-management system that changes turn by turn, you'll need to strategise carefully, share discoveries, and combine your strengths to solve cryptic puzzles, uncover unsettling lore, and survive the escalating threats that roam the manor.
But beware, the Host is always watching. This manipulative entity plays with reality itself, distorting what players perceive, trust, and believe. As paranoia sets in, will your group stay united long enough to escape? Or will the lodge claim you all?
With its blend of narrative-driven exploration, clever puzzles, and escalating tension, Eyes of Hellfire is perfect for fans of cooperative horror games like Arkham Horror, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Mansions of Madness.

You and your friends play as a small group of unfortunate people who have recently discovered that they have each become a victim of a potentially fatal curse. They have hiked through the thick woods of the Dublin mountains and travelled to the ruins of the Hellfire Club in the hopes of discovering what connects them to this place and what, or who, has brought this curse upon them all.

You and your team have a common goal of escaping the haunted lodge while also defeating the Antagonist. But you each also have hidden solo objectives. Which will you prioritize? You must succeed at both to win. Use proximity voice chat to plot together with teammates, as well as question their motives.

Choose from a variety of characters, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Your choice will impact what you see in each play session; you’ll have to decide if it’s real or not.
Build your hand of actions: Each playthrough you start with a hand of cards that equal actions that can be done each turn, limited by your action points. As you explore the lodge, you’ll discover new and better action cards to alter your playthrough.

Had a fun time playing until the almost unkillable "Boss" monster came out and derailed our game. Suddenly we went from exploring the house and solving puzzles to desperately looping a monster around a table while waiting for teammates to finish their turns. It feels a bit unfair that a creature with unlimited movement and attacks can follow me all the way across the mansion when I have an extremely finite amount of resources. Also, it feels bad when you get attacked while trying to use a move card in a door and then lose said move card fleeing from the monster leading to you getting attacked AGAIN since you're now stuck in the room. I REALLY like the concept of this game and am looking forward to see what the full release will be like, but in it's current state it's a little frustrating to play. Still recommend people checking it out cause I see a lot of potential.
Shamefully abandoned.
Abandoned before it even released. Don't promise a game if you can't deliver. Don't waste your time or money
Thank you for abandoning the game I wish I did refund it when i could have

клоунада ♥♥♥♥♥♥
A uniquely ambitious take on the turn-based horror genre that showed plenty of promise despite its early-access bugs. My friends and I don't have much time together anymore, with adulthood and all that, but Eyes of Hellfire is a game we were all eager to stay up playing together. Sad to see it go, but I wish the developers the best of luck in the future!
Broken mess devs abandoned
Really disappointing. The game seemed like it had potential, but it definitely feels like it was a cash grab by Blumhouse AND the developers. It's clear now that they put out a half-assed product with a lot of promise to seem like the game had a future that would make it worth buying. Almost like it was always the plan.
In English: A fantastic game with a lot of potential that, unfortunately, no longer seems likely to receive further development. This game gave me a truly memorable experience and managed to impress me with both its visuals and its gameplay mechanics. Playing with friends was incredibly fun and engaging, and I can genuinely recommend giving it a try even in its current state. It probably won't keep you hooked for hundreds of hours, but it's more than capable of making a few evenings thoroughly enjoyable. I spent about as much time with the Friends Pass as I have in the full game, so my total playtime isn't particularly high, but the experience has stayed with me. It made me laugh, left me confused in the best way at times, and created plenty of tense, exciting moments. For me, that alone makes it well worth playing.
