About
From the creator of Schwarzerblitz and Motionsickness, here comes a new, fast paced, explosive, 1v1 fighting game, where every grab is lethal. Roll around, wait for an opening and smash your opponent on the tarmac (explosions might ensue)!
Grabs are the way, but this doesn't mean one cannot fight dirty! Each character has a super move at their disposal, be it an invincible grab, a counter attack or a full screen pew pew laser, that immediately seals the match.
Use strikes to create grab opportunities, roll around the stage to position yourself, grab at the right moment to seal the deal. No block, no rest, only movement, fundamentals and a generous amount of dirt. Do you have what it takes to become the master of Exploding Judo?
full 3D movement with the help of a Roll button. This is a five buttons game (punch, kick, grab, dash, roll) with emphasis on dodging and grabbing
13 standard characters plus 3 unlockable boss characters and an annoying gun-headed goon that cannot beat the champ even if he tries his best (well, unless he gets really, REALLY lucky with a random grab)
arcade mode, survival mode and time attack mode
ten stages plus the classic grid (duh) and an extra green screen stage for photobashing shenanigans
local versus (online modes unfortunately not planned)
tutorial and training mode
a psychopathic dabbing killer robot reinstalled into a bunny droid body (which is actually canon)
a giant kaiju robot with plasma chainsaws and a full screen laser (which is ALSO canon, if you care about this sort of stuff)
the one and only Callowman from Duels of Fortune as a special playable guest character!
and also Dana Zane from the visual novel VA-11 Hall-A, ready to mix drinks and smash lives!

Exploding Judo Federation captures the vibe of renting a random fighting game game from the video rental store as a kid in the 90s to play with your friends and just mashing buttons having fun while maintaining deeper layers of depth and a lot of elements to explore. Great fun and highly reccomend if you can play with people offline.
Have you ever wanted to play tekken with the fear of guilty gear (ps1) instant kills happening to you frame one, then this game was made for you
You’d think that in a game built around a grab = death mechanic you wouldn’t have as many combos but Exploding Judo Federation was surprising in that regard. If you’re someone who loves arcade mode in fighting games and wants to learn about a whole collection of cool characters then this game is for you!

just like Schwarzerblitz (same dev), this game is full of love and content that really make it feels like a complete game. You have your traditional arcade mode with endings for each character where you will unlock some info about them at the gallery, as well their own ending and a new costume, all it's all FOR FREE. The gameplay it's way more simple than Schwarzerblitz, but not in a bad way nor better, but in a more unique and creative way that makes this game very different from any other. Basically every character is a grappler, and every grab will insta kill you. This alone would make me to not want to play the game, BUT the way this was implemented it's what make this game so good, interesting and fun. The main thing here is that you have to grab your opponent to kill them, but the grabs have more than enough time for you to react, but you have limit of number of times that you can react to that, and you also need to react to each grab with the correct button. It may sounds confusing or too hard on paper, but believe me, it's simple and easy to learn but also fun to play. When the characters is going to grab you, it will show a certain color before, and then when it grabs you it will also show the button prompt quickly, so you can memorize their grabs or also just react in time. The movement is fast and you can also jump and roll to avoid taking hit or being grabbed. The characters are fun and very charismatic (and more will be added, FOR FREE), each with at least one extra costume, the musics and stages are nice too. There's also trials where you can easily learn some combos of each character. Give this game a chance, it's insane that something like this is free, the only downside is the lack of online mode (but complete understandable, it's made by 1 person only), but is really fun to play with friends locally (or with parsec), even people that doesn't play much fighting games can enjoy playing this one. My only recommendation is to set the number of rounds to 5 due how fast some of the fights can end.
was funny, I like exploding and not knowing why
The game is so fun yet simple, and the music actually so good???? Andrea Demetrio turns out to be a good composer as well! The character designs are fun. The game's writing is times more horny for no good reason, compared to the previous game, but i personally found it very silly and endearing. Also LORE!!! If you were intrigued by the world of Schwarzerblitz, this game has some sweet lore to satisfy your curiosity... It's free and still being updated with more characters and story on the way (Dana Zane from Va-11 Hall-A was added in the latest patch at the moment of this review, waow), so... give it a try. It's free and easy to learn.
Weird fighting game with multiple quirky characters where you detonate enemies in 1v1 battles across the universe. Visuals low res but at least work on every PC. Characters are mostly judo federation champions like sharkmen, lobster and some anime characters, one with TV instead of head. Expect funny gameplay and a lot of clipping through the floor, walls and characters. Music is catchy that must be said. Levels simple with some bizzare backgrounds. Character movements lack som finesse but at least gameplay is somewhat fun for a minute or so. Controls are mostly ok, punch, kick, grab, side step and roll. Special attacks can be executed. Recommended if you like quirky fighting games otherwise skip pip.
A quick paced 3d fighter. Packed with a ton of secrets and lore. Andrea always put a lot of soul and care to the creation of these games. Game notes: Solo Fighter, with no blocking. Rolls, SF DRC/GG RC, Supers. Win by either KO or throw, with throw techs being limited.
Персонаж с монитором вместо головы это герой из аниме Dead Leaves
Unironicly one of the most unique Figthers I´ ve ever played. It is charming, fast paced, has a lot of content for an indie fighting game (different modes, gallery, lore, combo trials, etc, and is generally a blast to play (pun intended)
