Explore the Cenote in Expedia Labs VR. The experience takes you into the caves of similar cenotes that are found in the Yucatan Peninsula. Although a simulation of the true experience, you can learn facts and where you could find real cenotes if you wish to travel in the future.

Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Very confusing app to use. So this is basically an open-ended VR tour of a typical Cenote in the Yucatan Peninsula. There is not a guided tour per se, but you basically teleport around the Cenote until you are full circle. The whole thing took me 8 minutes, but I may have missed something because I noticed the store page has screen shots that I didn't see. As another reviewer mentioned, starting the game and teleporting around are unintuitive. I also had no idea how to start the game but decided to teleport forward and before I knew it I was at the Cenote. Cenotes are majestic and this app did get me excited to go visit one IRL. However, what I don't like is how this game opened up a web browser to the Expedia tourist destination. There were 3 tabs open! Also, the game ran rather poorly. Don't get me wrong. There were lots of butterlies, fish, birds, and water flowing everywhere to view. But framerates took a huge hit because of it. So clunky menu, clunky teleporting, and runs poorly on my 1060. But it was free and Cenotes are very awesome. Rate 5.5/10.

It lags a lot on my 1070 TI, not really interesting just a tour in some cave. Movement is limited, you need both hands on a controller (on oculus) and the lag makes it really bad, you just want to get out of it.
Expedia Labs VR'da Cenote'yi keşfedin. Deneyim sizi Yucatan Yarımadası'nda bulunan benzer cenotların mağaralarına götürür. Gerçek deneyimin bir simülasyonu olmasına rağmen, gelecekte seyahat etmek istiyorsanız gerçekleri ve gerçek cenotları nerede bulabileceğinizi öğrenebilirsiniz.
Expedia Cenote VR is a free VR experience. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You get to explore a simulated cave, read some info about Cenote in general, and find a code. This is developed by Expedia, so it is an advertisement for their travel service to the actual tour locations. Try it, if you like Travel and exploring.
EDIT: As of the 11/26/18 update this experience no longer runs for me. I tried repeated installs only for Steam to tell me it's broken and can't launch. For an experience that is basically a travel ad I was pleasantly surprised. Using my Oculus Rift it did judder when I would turn my head, but here’s what you get. You’ll start off in a dock area with some of the worst game controls ever. To execute a teleport turn you have to mash down a button while using your other hand to turn the stick on the same controller. You are also dumped on a dock and after repeatedly selecting start several times I realized I had to teleport down the walkway to the actual game. In game the controls were frustrating as teleport could be hit or miss and it was easy at one point to start teleporting in circles as you have to use the second hand to work the joystick to turn to face the right direction. It also juddered every time I turned my head, so if you get motion sickness you might want to give it a pass. So why a thumbs up? The game itself is very pretty and for free you get a lovely meditation app. Sit on the bottom of the waterway and watch the fish swim and plants sway. Chill out and enjoy high platform views of the waterfall. Learn about cenotes and find treasures and past sacrifices. If you want realism you still have to go visit an actual cenote, but for free this game is pretty and just needs some TLC.
