EXOME

This game is the GREATEST indie game I have ever played. WHAT A GEM. It has so much thought and planning put into it. It is so isolated and tells you so much without saying anything it continues to blow my mind. The game is set up in different parts that all flow into each other while you explore and try to figure out what is going on. You have hunting skills that you need, you have to fulfill your mission, find objects, fight off creatures, explore, gather gear and upgrade it, and stay alive while doing it all. The game reveals itself slowly so you figure out what you need to do, in what order, so as you go through the game you can get to the next step. It is intelligent and fun. It is pretty and scary. It is solitary but you feel connected to the story the more you play. It looks great and runs smooth for an indie game too. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ONE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Just install and play. At the time of this initial review I've only put 1.4 hours into the game. I've had zero issues and it runs perfectly. As for my initial gameplay experience, I'm enjoying what little I've been able to expeirence. I've wondered around, found some goodies, discovered a few runes, been slapped repeatedly and already purchased another copy and gifted it to my father in law so that he can join in on the experience (He's also a Linux user). This game should 100% be Linux / SteamOS + Steam Deck Verified, and I would imagine that it wouldn't take much (Are you listening brochacho developer man?) to get Verified for increased appeal. Mind you, the Steam Deck is here and thriving, Steam Machine is soon to arrive. Future proof! Verify! I will update my review once I"ve had a chance to thoroughly experience the game.

This is a top-tier demo, but it's miscategorized as a survival game and not really a fleshed-out, independent game. It's like a slenderman "explore-the-forest" spooky game, we explored everything, unlocked all the gear, met the unbalanced endgame, and got bored of it in <2hrs This is a one-nighter game, $0.99-$5 is a reasonable price point, $15 is too steep

Чисто погонять с кентом 2 часика, норм, но так срань, оптимизации ноль, половина стволов калл. Проходил её с кентом ещё в 23 году и с того момента добавили толком ♥♥♥♥♥, хотя потенциал ебейший, есть прикольные секретки, но которые никуда ♥♥♥♥♥ не идут, вроде некоторые прикольные механики, но всё упирается в то, что ♥♥♥♥♥ не доработано.

Объективно — дристня. На карте 40-й серии игра даже на минималках умудряется проседать ниже 60 FPS, стрельба ощущается как из водяного пистолета, геймплей сводится к унылой беготне по лесу за чертежами и зачистке платформ от орды масляных чертей, в соло играть смертельно скучно, а за три года с релиза толком ничего не изменилось — добавили босса и пару пушек, зато оптимизация стала ещё хуже. Сюжет тут «тупа в записках», которые нахер не сдались, никакой атмосферы они не добавляют. Страшного в игре нет абсолютно ничего, а те, кто говорит, что Exome страшная — просто ссыкливые лошары, которые нормальных хорроров в жизни не видели. В итоге это не игра, а максимум прототип на готовых ассетах из Unreal, не более.

Pretty fun game. Really enjoyed playing with my friends. Can't wait for the next update since we beat all that was available currently. Highly recommend giving this game a play.
