I think this is genuinly the most atmospheric game i have ever played... go play it

The pure spectacle element in this game is incredibly unique and beautiful, the gameplay is simple yet satisfying, the plot itself is a bit too abstract for my taste, still it was intriguing enough that I was excited to see more. This is definitely a one-sitter, but for 4€ you'll be glad you played it.

Quick review after 4 levels. Exo One is a unique experience. You control a strange spacecraft, explore vast levels, and uncover the mystery of what happened to the ill-fated Jupiter mission. The craft you control has 2 main abilities; You can increase your own gravity to build downwards momentum and you can glide. The levels are open and have varying terrain. Using the gravity/glide abilities lets you build speed, use mountains as ramps and soar above the clouds. The movement alone is a joy. Just going from A to B has put a smile on my face multiple times already in the few levels I have played. The graphics are great, from the terrain, to the weather, and the various alien/sci-fi effects. I've been awed by some of the vistas on display and find the VFX to be very pleasing to the eye. The audio is on point. The background music is very chill and fits the overall vibe really well. The dialogue in the short cutscenes is some kind of filtered or garbled, but again, it fits with the overall atmosphere of the game. I played on Steam Deck and it's very playable with default settings. I even turned the terrain detail up a little and was still getting 50-60fps most of the time. It dips occasionally, but never below 30fps in my experience. I'm sure if you tinker with the settings, you could get even more performance or battery life, but in my case wasn't needed. Exo One gets a strong recommendation from me. Obviously no game is going to be for everyone, but if you like any of the following, you owe it to yourself to at least try the demo: -Chill games with no fail state. -Exploration without minimap icons or arrows telling you where to go. -The movie 'Flight of the Navigator' -Fragmented storytelling. -Using valleys as halfpipes.

Uzun uzun bakıp uzaklara dala bileceğim görüntüler var oyunda ÇOK GÜZEL. DEYİP DE ALACAKSANIZ ALMAYIN. Evet oyunda çok güzel manzaralar var. EVET Oyunun renk paletleri. Arka plan görüntüleri. Oyunun sunduğu egzotik sahneler ÇOK GÜZEL. AMA. AMA AMK OYUN EĞER Kİ ONLARA BAKMAMIZA İZİN VERİRSE !!!! Allahın belası oyunda fix kamera diye bir şey var ve sadece siktiğimin topuna bakmamıza izin veriyor oyun. Çok ama ÇOK Sınırlı bir kamera oynatma kapasitemiz var ve bunu çok sınırlı bir kutucuktaymış gibi yapıyoruz. Yani o kadar sınırlı ve saçma bir kamera sistemi var ki oyunda şöyle söyleyim kamerayı sağa sola çevirsek bile siktiğimin oyunu kamerayı yine şu siktiğimin topuna focusluyor 5-10 salise sonra. O KADAR KÖTÜ. Amk yapımcıları bu kadar güzel gözüken manzaraları biz siktiğimin topunu izleyelim diye mi yaptınız ? Manzalara bakmanızın tek yolu amele gibi topu da bakmak istediğiniz yöne doğru döndürmeniz ki o zaman da oyunu oynayamıyorsunuz. Oyunda hız almanız gerekiyor ve hızı ancak tek bir yöne doğru ala biliyorsunuz sağa sola giderek değil. Oyun size öyle bir özgürlük vermiyor. Tek bir yöne giderken de topa ve topun baktığı yerleri göre biliyorsunuz sadece. Deli saçması bir dizayn ya öyle böyle değil. Amk madem bu kadar kısıtlı bir kamera açısı koyacaktınız niye bu kadar güzel manzaralar koyuyorsunuz ? Çok saçma bir seçim yapmışlar fix kamera yaparak ÜSTÜNE BİR DE Kamerayı sağa sola haraket ettirmeye çalışınca direkt tekrardan topa fixlemesi. Üfff bokun üzerine tüy dikmek resmen. Zıptı çıktı top için alacaksanız alın. Ama yok ben manzara izleyim. Arka plana odaklanayım. Chill bir şekilde egzotik sahnelerde kaybolayım diyorsanız BENİM GİBİ. Almayın arkadaşım kamera size ille o siktiğimin topunu zorla izletiriyor.
