If Jean Michele Jarre's or Terry Riley's music would be a video game it would be this game!
I like to compare the experience here with the Outer Wilds. Both titles are very different in terms of graphics and storytelling. But the feeling of exploration of the unknown stays the same. And it’s amazing. Piloting the ship feels even better than seen in trailers. I can’t even imagine what it’d be like with any flying controller or a VR system. The game sacrificed almost all unnecessary gameplay scripts, like NPCs, for pure performance. And so, you can easily achieve 4K and 144fps BOTH. Together with an astonishing graphic, it’s an achievement to be proud of. Due to the above, the story happens in a different way than we’re used to. It doesn’t contain a lot of classic dialogs or animations. Instead, everything happens in between steering, at random moments of gameplay. Sometimes, just before a hard maneuver. Sometimes just after. It feels like one of those mysterious movies at film festivals. Expect you’re not watching a movie, you’re inside it.
UFO sim, really fun and relaxing so far
Игра настолько атмосферная, что не замечаешь, как уже конец :(
I feel like I saw everything everywhere all at once - from the Big Bang to the very last past instant.
The story has depth and successfully drew me in, and yet, there's so little dialogue - always vague, at that! I think this resumes the game in its entirety. There is so little , how can it feel so full ?? Anyway, a very atmospheric game - and really good at it, a beautiful experience, 10/10, get it now.
This is sci-fi porn.
Good stuff
This game went to Jupiter to get more stupider. Playing the game is fun but it doesn't let you do that much, you have to sit through the cutscenes and tech demos before you can fly around as a little ball for 10 minutes. It also tries to have this weird segmented storyline which I'm usually all about but doesn't really land. Also the 2001 thing and the soundtrack are really pushing it, space is cool but it's so hammy in how 'awe-inspiring' it is. Fun gameplay but a missed opportunity, go play Haste.
WOW. I was not expecting this game to be this good. Eye candy the entire way, Chill, slightly challenging, engaging.. Bravo. Exo Two? DLC? Please?
one of the most visually stuning games i've ever seen a last to play reminds me of a cross between 2001 and contact
