váóóó!
I found this game to be a totally unique experience. You could see it as a momentum-based physics platformer/racer of sorts, where attaining speed is how you progress. The game plays as something halfway between Sonic the Hedgehog and Tribes, but pushed to the extreme. The coolest part is how the game melds the gameplay with a very original and convincing SciFi story/atmosphere.
All this game needs to be – and all that it actually is – is a set of well-designed movement mechanics and a sequence of beautiful and varied environments to use them in that effectively incentivised different . The first problem with the game is that it refuses to recognise this. The story is so vaguely and obtusely told that it provides functionally no context for what you're doing or why, but the game also wastes *so* much time failing to tell it that it actively intrudes on and detracts from the gameplay. The sections where the game makes an extended digression from the extremely strong central mechanics dragged horribly, and served no real purpose as the game just doesn't have the mechanical depth or variety to make being deprived of any of them engaging. The second problem is that the game is just too short. It needed to be twice as long as it was because, again, when strong central mechanics are all that you have, you need to take them as far as they'll go, and this game just did not. I got it on sale for £2.85 and that feels like kind of a fair price for it, but the £14.29 it's retailing for at time of writing is daylight robbery, it's not worth that at all. It's such a shame because I was gearing up to find it a flawed but fun game, but it ending too early left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't in good faith recommend it.
what an experience. it was a simple and amazing game. very strong atmosphere and artistic choices. can’t wait to finish all levels.

Wow. Absolute CInema. Extremley beautiful, and one of the best Space games I've ever played. 10/10 fully recommend.
