“Qual o sentido da vida e da morte?” Esta é a pergunta que inicia essa aventura artística e filosófica. Uma viagem que trará inúmeras respostas diferentes, todas igualmente válidas. Existensis é um jogo desenvolvido por uma única pessoa, Ozzie Sneddon, e está disponível na Steam, lançado no dia 19 de julho. Absolutely gorgeous art and music! Not to mention the philosophy it brings up. Despite that, I didn't feel like the game came together smoothly, felt a bit broken up and discontinuous.
Absolutely worth it. Insane. Not only every senario is full of interesting details and ideas (i can imagine a much bigger game/story being made in this setting) italso has a very intersting story, very minimalistic, but it makes the few moments when it takes the lead very memorable and surprising. It's absolutely worth it to finish. The ending is peak.
This game was a gem. Art, music and lore (which are already good taken individually) perfectly merge in an incredible experience. The art is stunning. Every place you visit leaves you entranced, everything is so colorful and so heavy. The games is a lot about poetry and its graphics are full of it, full of allegories. Speaking of "graphic allegory", I loved every single thoughtform, the developer really nailed their design. Art aside, the music is really beautiful too, every place has its piece that enhances it. It's like some places are made even more colorful by the music that accompaigns them. Finally, I loved the philosophy heavy lore and story, the journey to the discovery of the meaning of life... Absolutely give this game a shot. My deepest compliments to the author (who, if I remeber correctly from a reddit post, developed this game all by themselves!)
Amazing, artistic, colorful game.
Nice artstyle!
Blub blub, glorb gleeble gloop. Grok?
Pretty
10/10 would question my own existence again
It's very colorful and features such a wonderful art style. The lore is also interesting. The only complaint is the restart from different levels menu is not obvious as a menu. That's more on me for missing it though.
