What turned me away from this title was that I couldn't restart the game. Used my photos for testing mechanics out and unable to get new film.
I've personally enjoyed the game, but I also feel it needs to be optimized a little better. Here's my recorded game play https://youtu.be/OvBrLHgC_fA?si=ppx6NUSeagt-0Y2A Next chapter looking forward to it! GPU - 7900 x t CPU - 7900 x
This has to be to worst optimized game I've ever played, and I play indie horror games, so I've played a lot of terrible games. I rarely say this, but it's literally unplayable. It really is. I tried changing every possible setting, including setting built into my graphics driver, and nothing could save it. I ran at under 20fps with a high end PC most of the time. It's a real shame because I think I could have liked the game if it ran well.

If you don't like Outlast like me then you definitely won't like this. Don't know why such powerful specs are needed when most of this game was dark.
Just finished the game, graphics here are pristine and pleasing to the eyes. Good fairly short horror experience i enjoyed. Very fun very scary and that dang lunch lady got owned when i trapped her in the door xD
Poor optimization mars an otherwise 'mid' experience
From what I can tell, this seems like it might be an OK kind of game. The tonal shift from the creepy house to Temu Skyrim was actually interesting. But the game is sooooooo poorly optimized, that running it on anything less than a super computer makes it look and play like crap. Not worth it, until the dev can fix it up. And even then, it as kind of mediocre story anyway.
Warning: Asset Flip! Evil Sinister is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
This is your usual haunted house assets dumped over a first person horror adventure game blueprint from Unreal Marketplace, with an ugly filter bolted on top to make other people's assets look even worse. The only notable thing about this is the developer forgot to put a price tag on it. How is he supposed to get your money for someone else's Unreal assets without a price tag? It's a mystery. Evil Sinister is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Evil Sinister", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Хорошая страшилка но багованая, ну и не понятно куда идти + размытие вблизи обьекта очень бесит https://youtu.be/yerdvUOmw0E
Broken garbage. I'm getting 150-200 fps on a very capable machine. Still crashes constantly. 23 GB and it is only 10min. max.
