About
Ah, what's a devil to do in this day and age... Looking back at the past, I'm not sure if I learnt anything. Was there something to, in the first place? May you be my judge, jury and executioner, dear player, as you venture through my mind and life. Through my mistakes and plights. Welcome, to my everyday~

A short, linear story game revolving around fragments of a random demon guy's life.
The scattered pieces of memory are short, and somewhat disjointed... it's mostly a lot of walking and talking. The style of it may be a little different between each vignette, depending on Cecil's feelings at the time.
It's a strange world, full of darkness.
But it's just everyday life for him.
I hope you understand.

This game is a free visual novel, and certainly ranks as one of the most boring 2 hours I have ever wasted on a game. You are a rich blonde pretty boy named Cecil, who is supposed to be a demon. The word "demon" usually brings up images in people's minds of terrifying, destructive evil beings from the pits of hell. However, Cecil is one of the most pathetic losers I've ever seen. He is a slobbish adult, who until recently still lived with mommy and daddy in their mansion with several servants. He hates his job, and his boss. He does not get along with his co-workers, and has no friends. He spends all of his money on alcohol, cigarettes, and those little Tamagotchi digital pets from eggs that were popular about 30 years ago. He constantly philosophizes to himself. Cecil's day is mundane. He walks up and down the street looking a place to live. He gets drunk. He goes to the library to read. He goes to the convenience store to buy junkfood. He goes to his job. His mind spends some time reliving old memories from his past, like the death of a pet from his childhood and a couple of ex-girlfriends from his teens. And every step of the way, he whines about life. The graphics are multiple styles which are all over the place. They seem to be a little bit comic book, a little bit cartoon, a little bit paper cut-outs, and a little bit RPG-maker. The controls are simple. The keyboard only has walk, interact with stuff, and pause. The mouse sometimes moves the camera, and in one scene shoots/reloads gun. The game will take you between 1.25 to 1.75 hours to complete. There are 5 achievements, but they do not count on your Profile. Once you get all of the achievements, there is no replayability. However, you can replay individual scenes if you want. Also, there are no trading cards. Since the game is short, and meant to be completed in one session, there are no manual saves. The game ran perfectly fine though. I experienced no bugs or glitches.

extending the game by making the pacing weird (very slow movements, having to go to places far away, the gacha machine) wasn't nice.. the game would have been much better with proper pacing
Really damn interesting, had many many diffrent kind of approaches and diffrent artstyles and "playstyles", but just never seemed to stay on one too long for you to truly appricate it, really wish it would have been longer, also has kitties.
Everyday Devil is a very simple game explaining a very complicated feel, depression. You go through different moments of Cecil's life understanding what his repetitive mundane life is like. Some parts of the game had me scared, sad, smiling. At the end of the game, I looked at Cecil and saw myself in him in way. I felt I had gone through the same life he had. Even though he's a devil I felt connected to him.
one must imagine cecil singing the im a fat chud song
