For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Citizens from either side of an ongoing war must set aside their differences as a mysterious alien invasion threatens humanity – time has come to a stop for all but your small band of freedom fighters. Caught in a seemingly endless loop, you must shape these ordinary civilians into heroes as they repeatedly fight and die in this turn-based tactical roguelite. Real-time exploration, stealth, and teamwork are essential as you acquire new skills, seek out more powerful weapons, escape the time loop, and save the world. Welcome to the resistance!

Countless lives hang in the balance, frozen in time as the alien Rifters seek to harvest the world’s resources. Your group of three have somehow escaped that curse, only to suffer something worse – every time they die, time resets. Or so it seems.
Take on a variety of mission types to thwart the alien invaders – shut down their harvesters, defuse their bombs, and take out their occupying troops to gain the skills you need and secure victory. Will you attempt secondary objectives to save other civilians at the risk of losing your progress? Or will you sacrifice the lives of those frozen in time in the interest of advancing towards your ultimate goal? With every new time loop, newly acquired experience and skills remain, and with every death, your band of civilians turn into hardened war veterans.
Explore the multiple districts of your wartorn city, seeking out weapons stashes and uncovering hidden equipment that will better prepare you for what comes next. Anything you discover in one loop is available to you from the start of the next, fundamentally changing your approach. Use more advanced weapons, modifications, and gear to defeat the enemy more handily, in turn gaining access to even more powerful tools of the trade.
Take on the Rifter leaders in challenging boss battles that place your fighters on the back foot. Harder to kill, heavily armored, and dangerously armed, these leaders hold the key to this war – every time one falls, the time loop shifts forward, bringing the forever war closer to an end.

War is unforgiving and relentless, and every opportunity must be taken to secure the upper hand. Your tactical prowess will be put to the test when the bullets start to fly – armed and positioned appropriately, allies can work closely together to assist one another, interrupt enemy movements, and bring about a quick end to challenging circumstances.
Study the enemy you’re facing, sneak around the battlefield to obtain an optimal position, and seek out any opportunities to use the world around you to your advantage.
Take direct control of every shot as you aim down the sights, find where your target is weakest, and unleash a hail of bullets. Hit chances are determined entirely by your positioning, your aim, and your reaction time, with ballistics taking firing angles and obstructions into account as your targets run and duck for cover. Will you trust your aim with a sniper rifle, spray and pray with a submachine gun, or get up close and personal with a trusty shotgun?
The action never stops as your resistance fighters can react to both friend and foe across turns on either side, beyond their usual action point limits. Every individual has access to unique reflex actions to intercept enemy movement and assist allied kills, or to scramble away from enemy fire. Will you reserve your reflexes for defensive maneuvers when things take a turn for the worse, or will you use them to apply constant pressure on the enemy?

The arrival of the Rifters brought the world to a standstill, but life goes on for your fighters. Uncover their checkered pasts as they learn to work together. Unveil the mystery of the alien invaders and their control over time as you fight through the streets of a once-beautiful city to reveal the full truth about the war. Your resistance grows stronger with each success, and with each failure – after all, death is only the beginning.

I beat the Early Access content. It was a blast to play and a fun twist on the turn based genre. I like the open world movement flowing to setting up ambush and then taking turns in combat. The interesting part is aiming in first person, Phoenix Point did a similar thing, but I don't recall if it was optional or not. The time loop mechanic is nice as you can just restart the run and keep your skills and some resources. It was damn hard in some areas, but once i got some good gear it was a wipe. I am hoping this gains a following as they teased a lot in the end. Overall a fun and different take on turn based tactical games. 8/10
Excited to see where they take this game. Lots of promise.

Original take on the XCOM formula, and a lot of fun.
if you like cprg, xcom and odd stuff you'll enjoy this. Played through and finished it. Lot's of fun, decent story with some light crafting. Hopefully they will add some DLC and expand it on full release. It's pretty much good to go as is on 0.8. Visually appealing and good game mechanics. Didn't have any problems.
Recommended, conditionally. I bought this game after trying it out and absolutely loving the mechanics - turn based tactical combat with short, regularly reactive, First Person Shooter windows in which you make your attacks. For me, that ticks a lot of boxes of "things I like". Upon completing the game, I can say that if the above sounds good to you, this game is worth it purely for how good the core mechanic is, however it is not without it's flaws. First the good: Tactical turn based x FPS is absolutely gold. Think Phoenix point but with movement and therefore more skill elements, or (at a push) 3D Steamworld Heist. Brilliant voice acting Some nice skill progression options Fun* traversal around the open city with light puzzle elements to get loot (* see flaws) Decent story that thematically flows very well into the rogue-ish elements Weapon mods are cool, but there needs to be more weapons and more mods Now the bad: Not particularly well optimised, performance can stutter. Especially bad with 'Epic' attachments that can trigger particle effects on certain conditions (e.g. breaking shields) which absolutely tank frames, regularly in shooting sequences. (Granted my PC isn't a powerhouse, but I can play Elden Ring/Cyberpunk on high with smooth FPS) In my opinion, rogue and turn-based tactics are not a good match. Losing a run and replaying battles gets old pretty quick and the loop is not snappy. The rogue elements also sap the fun from the city traversal. You'll need to collect resources to gear up for battle, which means a slow trudge around the same areas to collect everything each time you start a loop. Adding to the above, traversal is slow, even after they added a sprint. Transitions like mantling, climbing, teleporting etc take too long and add to the trudge. Limited maps - there are only really 4 main maps, which you'll revisit for different missions. Add replay due to rogue loops and you'll get veeerry familiar. Difficulty - it is now tuneable, which is very welcome. The default gets tough very quickly, meaning you die and start the loop over. I personally dropped the difficulty right down to complete the game. Otherwise the grind becomes significant. It also adds to the feeling that the difficulty/rogue combo is there to pad playtime, as there isn't all that much content here. The final mechanic in the final battle is really not good. At a glance, it looks like the negatives outweigh the positives, but the fact that the main mechanic is so good does a lot of heavy lifting.
