After the disaster the first Version was I really tried to give the second Version a good try. But its really disappointing. Savefiles worked, but other than this basic bugfix I cant really say the game improves in my playtime. The more systems you unlock the more bugs youll encounter. The game doesnt save certain settings when you restart and I had to restart regularly because the game had different bugs or straight up refused to work. Having this as Version 2.0 after all this time and at this pricetag is disgusting. For more Info on that I'd recommend to read the Review of "Turk".
The developer is inactive and doesnt respond to bug reports. Some players have major issues with their characters or account - Due to ingame bugs - But the developer ignores them. Dont spend your money on this game. Its already dead and issues are NOT getting fixed. Waste of money! Edit: The developer banned me from his discord when it noticed this reviews (Instead of responding to the bug report) Considering this is a re-launch of a game that totally flopped on its first release, i highly recommend no one to waste their money on this game.
HORRIBLE. Game loads directly into building a party and then entering a dungeon. Then your whole screen is taken over by the UI elements and, from what I could see, no ability to scale the UI and change the resolution. Unbelievably bad UI. It was soi jarring that I assume the game bugged, so I exited and restart. Nope. That is the game apparently. Also zero sound; no music or anything. My first ever 6 minute refund.
Worst thing about the game: my save is broken. After loading the game back, my character are standing in an empty void and I can't click on any dungeons. So I cannot play the game anymore without doing a save reset. In general, the game isn't that fun, but it also lack a lot of polish. There is only a few icons in the game, but don't fit together, some are plain 2D basic shapes and some are kind of 'hand drawn'. A lot of things should have icons but don't. Things like abilities is just a '1' and '2', which makes it kind of boring. But the worst of it all is that the game doesn't have an icon, so in the taskbar, it shows the Electron icon (the 'engine' they use for the game) UI is also very badly made. Since it's simply an Electron web page, the UI is like a web page and will sometime display a scrollbar when there isn't enough space to display all the data, which is really bad. Some popups are just plain basic web 'alert' windows instead of having a themed game window. Like when you try to sell, it's a basic 'windows' alert popup. The game balance is a bit weird. I started with a party of tank, healer, mage and archer. My tank would get the agro of all monsters and die instantly, then after that, the other party members would get hit randomly, so they would survive much longer. So for a while my tank wasn't getting any experience because he kept getting killed. Ended up being level 3 versus level 10 for all my other guys. I had to macro manage and restart the dungeon non-stop until he got enough levels to survive.
A team simulation game. The gameplay is definitely mediocre. I hope there will be improvements in future patches.
At this point in time, I cannot recommend this game. Maybe in the future it will have a bit more going on, but for the price I expect a whole lot more game and polish. I love me a good idle/clicker/incremental game, and I've played games that cost one dollar that have more going on than this. It has zero onboarding, people in the discussions are not exactly inspiring confidence and the game curators are labeling this as AI. While that last bit isn't exactly proven, it is another bit of poor taste in my mouth. I'm going to personally sit on it for a few days to see if any updates fix the general poor feel of the game, and return it at that time if nothing improves.
dangerously addictive if you love seeing numbers go up. tweaking your squad of 4 and getting that loot filter dopamine hit is real. the endgame is surprisingly huge for an idle game too. vault dungeons and target farming make the grind actually engaging instead of just mindless waiting. solid pickup if you enjoy min maxing builds
I’ve finally got it! One of the most anticipated games! Don’t expect a story or unexpected twists here, but you do have to beat enemies and figure out how to deal even more damage! It’s cool that there are several locations. That makes the game RE-PLAYABLE! On the other hand... maybe... you should keep this away from Lineage 2 fans and anyone who loves spending countless hours in games! It can eat up all your time!!!
