About
Euryale is a long-lived succubus that has spent centuries seducing humans for their delicious lust energy. During one-such seduction, a meteor from an unknown origin crashes releasing a strange new energy that fills Euryale and grants her a vision of the future with the command: "save her". Confused by the vision, Euryale follows the meteor and meets Elena, a beautiful human. The two fall in love and Euryale concludes that she must be the one in the vision who she is supposed to save. She translates the vision and decides in order to save Elena, she must travel back to the 19th century and help a man named Spoons to stop a war.
After travelling back in time, Euryale finds herself up against the Succubus Queen Igret who is pulling the strings of war as she has for centuries. The Queen reveals to Euryale a hidden truth about her past that forces her to reconsider everything she thought about herself.
Join the journey as Euryale both uncovers the truth about her past while trying to save Elena and the future.
Euryale's Gambit takes place in a world different than the historic 19th century you were taught in school. In this world, supernatural entities exist including gods, angels, demons and succubi from several different mythologies including and primarily Greek (but with a very unique spin). Euryale will encounter many foes as she carries out Spoon's plan. She will have to use her unique talents and succubus skills to overcome her enemies and achieve her objective.
EG is a linear-style visual novel with choices that affect different scenes as well as Euryale's relationships with others. Depending on choices, there are several "bad endings" which will prevent continuation of the story. However, for the full experience, it's recommended to try to get all the bad endings.

Please follow United Critics for quality reviews
Euryale's Gambit Review
Euryale's Gambit (EG) is a NSFW visual novel game about a succubus from the year 2022 that has to travel back in time to the US civil war to end slavery. The reason is that slavery caused the end of the world on her timeline and only she has the power to stop the doomsday. In your adventure you will find random gods, goddesses and monsters that will aid you in your adventure. Yes, I’m serious and this is a real game. Be aware that the target audience for this game is straight males and includes some scenes of incest.
Questions you might have if you're interested in playing it:

What is it exactly that you do in the game? It’s a visual novel where you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen, explore locations and chat with NPCs in order to progress the story… and you obviously watch nsfw short videos and slideshows.
Will it make my eyes bleed? It’s quite mediocre in this aspect. This game is a mess of “borrowed” assets from AAA games and a bunch of random assets that the dev probably downloaded for free or bought on a 3D asset store. I don’t have anything against devs reusing assets to use as placeholders or the final build of the game as long as they make sure that those assets don’t stand out as something “weird''. My problem with EG is that the protagonist is clearly the free model of Lara Croft from the newer games, the plot at some point revolves around a character that is holding Connor’s axe from Assassin's Creed 3, there is a fox girl that has hair with textures from a PS1 game and there are skeletons that can easily be mistaken as a N64 asset. Sometimes there are patches of different resolution textures in the same characters in close ups… it’s quite terrible. In case you were wondering, this game is an “uncanny valley” city. The backgrounds are obviously an afterthought, they are generic and bland. I will have to give credit to the devs, even with all the stuff that I mentioned before, they try to add some “finesse” to the game’s “graphics”. For example, with some cool but mostly weird and hilariously random cinematics that can show you, for instance, a man with the worst fake beard (which you are supposed to take seriously) doing a very dramatic and heartfelt monologue to the end of times. The following video is not an edit, it’s something that happens in the game just randomly: https://youtu.be/aNjNj_pKmxA The NSFW scenes in this game are terrible, I’m just going to link a video about a sex scene that stuck with me the most. I uploaded it to my mega account because I don’t want to risk any of my important accounts. You will need to download it and watch it at your own risk. I also added a folder with all the memes that some friends did about this game. Enjoy!... Oh and just in case you see some white letters in the middle of the screen, that is just because the game decided to keep them there randomly.
Does it have a good story? No. It’s quite terrible honestly, horrible characters, nonsensical plots that the game introduces to later forget about them and plot twists that come out of nowhere. But I have to admit that it’s really entertaining to make fun of this game’s story, so I kind of love it.
Does it have a good soundtrack? For the majority of the game’s length there is no OST or sound or voices, even with the free voices dlc (which I wish more games had), it’s just you, and the universe judging you in silence. When this game decides to have background music… It’s really good actually but I’m pretty sure that it is “borrowed” music, but I can’t prove it.
Does it have replay value? If you like pain, yes. Something that I love about this game is that you can make the wrong decision, fail and watch a bad ending. This will make the game reload you to the moment before you made that decision and pick the right one, but this also makes this game a linear experience. So, no replay value.
Does it run well? I have not experienced a single technical issue, frame drop, stutter or crash. This game even ran perfectly on my dual core Optiplex.
Is it fun? It’s fun to make fun of this game. And believe me, my friends loved every second watching me stream this game on discord just to meme the hell out of this game. But playing this game alone can be bad for your mental health.

So what is Euryale's Gambit?
It’s The Room of NSFW visual novels. This game is the perfect mix of really bad game design and really good game design. The story, the character’s personalities and designs, the backgrounds and the animations are so bad that they go around the badness scale and become so good to experience and poke fun at. I don’t know how to explain it. I spent 15 hours playing this game on one sitting on stream with friends and none of us could leave our seat, we had to know what weird situation this game was going to present us with next, and besides a 4 hours stretch near the end of the game, this game’s craziness always delivers and never stops. You can meet Abraham Lincoln in the game! As for really good game design. There is a generous amount of checkpoints for you to safely explore the bad endings and never get soft locked. The puzzles are simple and streamlined and the game has a “lore” tab that explains concepts that are hard to grasp.
Is this game worth my hard earned money?
Only if you understand what I mean with “The Room of NSFW visual novels”. This game is objectively bad, but if you are a crazy person like me that loves outrageous and weird games that know no shame or restraint. This is THE GotY for 2022 for you. Rating: 5/10 The best worst game that I have ever played.
Good
The writing is... not great. Don't get me wrong, the idea behind the story isn't a bad one, but the execution is subpar. The main character is not very relatable and the dialog is tolerable at best. The fact this is $7 barely justifies this. The AI voice acting actually made things worse. Maybe, eventually, the devs will come back to this and fix things and maybe, MAYBE, hire some real voice actors. I'd even be willing to pay for the voice actor pack if they got some good names in, there's plenty to pick from. Good voice acting can bring a game back from the brink. Until then, this visual novel is just not something I can recommend to others.
some renders were good, most were average, some were bad borderline hard to look at lots of clipping and a few weird poses felt like political views were going to be pushed down your throat but maybe it was just the chaotic start, that leaves you feeling like that's about to happen. Maybe it was the choice to involve a story line with slavery and angels and demons. weird choice in my opinion. i dunno for as cheap as it is price wise ... you dont really feel bad quitting the game 0.2 hrs in and uninstalling ... maybe in a yr, a revisit will see improvements made and a better experience the screen shots definitely oversell

"Euryale's Gambit" is an adult story rich vn. The starting point of an awesome fantasy trilogy (chronologically it's the second after "Tragedy of Medusa" which it's its prequel)! Set in a fictional world filled with mythological creatures, find out the new set of rules this universe has! It is based on relationship building and you won't want to miss the bad endings. You'll always get the option to go back and choose something else. There are no plot holes or inconsistencies. Nobody acts outside of character and nothing happens that will make you wonder "How did this happen? This shouldn't had happened according to XYZ thing!". What does a succubus doing going back in time? What dark fate is she trying to prevent? Can she seduce her way to achieve her goals? Let's find out! ^^ Meet the entire cast and form relationships with them... Sizzling hot erotic or murderous relationships... The game offers many steamy scenes regardless of if you are on the true path or heading down a bad ending. Explore a pivotal point of their lives as nothing will remain the same! The writing has some minor errors but nothing that will create any problem with understanding it. The soundtrack accompanies it and changes in rhythm when the situation calls for this. The artificial voice acting might or might not work for you, it's not a feature I would recommend it for but it's not annoying either. The graphics are ok but lacking details in the background. They might feel strange at times. Regardless, there is great effort in the scenes themself, especially when they contain a character or want to show emotion and action. Just like an old comic-strip you get a fast small change in still images to create the feeling of movement. And it succeeds in this! It's very pleasant, especially on naughtier scenes! Apart from an interesting story, it has interesting love and sex scenes that vary from vanilla to wild fetishes. You get the option to select the content you wish to see. You can replay it to chose an alternative option or see different content. The choices here matter only to view different scenes or to see how you can fail. There is one true ending with all the others being different ways you can go wrong. Decent lenght and fairly priced! Don't miss it! Its universe is fascinating and engaging! a very good Visual Novel. I recommend it. lots of answer options. some sex scenes. everything is uncensored what do you want more. good graphic. the price of this game is alright.
A játékidő kb. 10 óra. ;)
Who'd have thought modern story and Greek mythology would mix so well?
Euryale's Gambit is a 3DVN that instantly caught my curiosity because it's the first visual novel that uses AI-generated assets, plus I always liked anything related to Greek Mythology. All I can say after playing it is that the game is quite an experience.
Story
It puts you in the shoes of the titular character, a succubus from ancient times who gets sent to pre-civil war America to stop slavery so "she"'ll be safe. However, the conflict is much bigger than it looks, and she'll have to make allies and fight against other supernatural entities to prevail. The way the story is told is a bit confusing. It frequently jumps from the current timeline to events that happened to other characters days, weeks, or a few instants ago. That said, it's hard not to get invested in the story once you get used to its quirks. The stakes keep increasing as the plot progresses and the protagonist and the side characters get a lot of character development. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2859657285 Moreover, there are loads of different endings, most of them bad ones. For example, a bad decision can lead to Euryale getting killed, her getting captured and "reeducated" by the big bad, or becoming the antagonist's newest fashionable decoration, to name a few. Talking about the endings, I hope you like cliffhangers because the story ends with a massive one. Sure,
the main conflict is more or less solved, but now the characters have bigger issues to deal with, and when they ready themselves to go, BAM! it jumps straight to the epilogue, and you're left wondering what happened there.

Audiovisuals
I have mixed feelings about the game's graphics. The characters look fantastic save for Spoons' odd and inconsistent design, and the sex scenes are top-notch. However, the backgrounds feel lifeless and empty, as if the characters suddenly walked into a ghost town. On another note, there was no soundtrack in the entire game save for a few scenes whose orchestral track heightened their impact. The voice acting is a mixed bag. On the one hand, the partial voice acting of the secondary cast was on point, but, on the other hand, Euryale's AI-generated voice felt so off it was distracting. I ended up turning it off after a while
Final Thoughts
All in all, Euryale's Gambit is a bit rough around the edges, but you can't help but enjoy it once you get used to its quirks. Whether to get it now or wait for its sequel depends on how much you can stand cliffhangers. If you don't mind getting blue-balled at the end of the game, then go for it!
