European Air War

I loved this game 25 years ago. In fact, this game was ironically involved --for me, personally -- during one of the most tragic incidents to ever happen to my home country. Irrelevance aside, this game is as buggy now as it was back in the day and I still love it. The problem is I can't play it because of said issues; all suggested fixes haven't worked. That being said, it's not an expensive game and it's old, so you get what you pay for. If you like the nostalgia of this classic, then go for it. But BE WARNED about save data that can become corrupted and crash the game. Have a hex editor handy.

Nicer Klassiker

The game is a classic. But there are run issues and crashes out back to the steam main menu. Need to have a little more support for joystick as it still not keeping the saved button mapping so every time you start up you have to remap. If not this its getting it or try getting it to run on a win7/xp PC (with dosbox) or go crazy with a retro PC with win98 for a real hair puller of a time.....how did we survive that driver hell:{

Joystick with throttle were recognized for flight and I just used JoyToKey to map the buttons to keys, works well. I owned this game back in the day, and I have been playing it for years. Graphics are dated but the gameplay makes it worth it. Get it on sale when possible.
